What was so revolutionary and unique about S1 is how realistic it was, this season falls in the trap of classic overdramatic unrealistic storytelling that comes with trying to go for higher stakes. But it's still not anywhere near bad by any means. I'd easily watch 10 more seasons of this, but they'll never be season 1.
On a side note: son sukku and Choi hyunwook (even tho he was in 1 episode) were a revelation this season.

yeah this is why they should keep the original translation, it just sounds better and more special as it is what the writer/producers intended. When a third party meddles, they only come up with something subpar.

yeah the gap between the seasons was too long for such an unmemorable show, it killed it for me :/ I'm dropping it bc I honestly can't be bothered to read recaps and I'm not eager to find out how the story or the characters develop. it had such a great cast tho.
