I'm sad crime drama fans aren't hyping this, I mean no crime drama since signal has been "amazing", but SD falls…
No crime drama has been amazing since signal? and shadow detective is the exception? that's crazy. you clearly don't watch enough crime dramas or they're just not your thing.
The first title was translated literally from Korean title, so it is not official. Then official English title…
yeah this is why they should keep the original translation, it just sounds better and more special as it is what the writer/producers intended. When a third party meddles, they only come up with something subpar.
yeah the gap between the seasons was too long for such an unmemorable show, it killed it for me :/ I'm dropping it bc I honestly can't be bothered to read recaps and I'm not eager to find out how the story or the characters develop. it had such a great cast tho.
The FL is such a heart stealer. I've never seen her in anything before other than her small role in scarlet heart which I don't remember very well. she really blew me away here. The whole show is such a great surprise honestly. I hate this stupid boring poster, it's the reason I didn't get into this sooner.
Watched the first episode so far. it's really good. The cast is really something and horror legend Nakata Hideo utilizes his horror chops to craft intense and suffocating sequences that feel very real. I knew little to nothing about this event so I'm looking forward to finding out more. Idk why people are looking down on it from a Chernobyl lens, it's not like Chernobyl is the only piece of media about nuclear disasters, or like it's riding the popularity wave of Chernobyl, it literally came out 4 years ago. It's its own thing, check it out if you're interested in this type of stories.
