I'm always taken aback by the reactions on this website honestly. Anyway, the initial reactions are pretty harsh. it's much better than a lot of high rated scifi stuff on here. It's short and an interesting fun watch. I can't speak on the adaptation aspect form the comics, but for what it is, it's far from a less than average Netflix production. give it a chance.

it's really not that surprising, a little over a year ago before i got into kpop and kdramas, I wouldn't have recognized them either. Even after watching parasite, i wouldn't have recognized wooshik that easily.

This really makes me appreciate Korean entertainment and Korean culture honestly, because where else would you find millionaire popstars and movie stars genuinely working an 8 hour shift cooking for people and caring about the quality of service by themselves? Yes, they're getting paid for the show, but they're still putting in some admirable dedication. Hollywood stars could never.
