Make up department is nuts, what's with all that crazy lipstick on rowoon? like he's already so gorgeous and manly looking, what are they doing? It takes me out of it almost every scene, he literally looks like he has more make up than any of the female actresses. So much for a cold and stoic lawyer, they make him look like he's about to perform on music bank.

This season really suffered from not having multiple individual cases where they can showcase what's so fun and cool about the counters concept in the first place. The first few episodes were great when we were first introduced to the conflict and the new villains, but you can't make 12 episodes revolve around just that, especially since they got rid of 1 of the main villains very quickly and now they got rid of the 2nd one too. These last 2 episodes specifically were soooo repetitive, you can literally pay attention just half of the time and not miss anything. The visual and special effects this season are top notch tho, that's the only improvement.

oh I didn't know he left his agency. I do know that he said in an interview he wants to do more tough and cool ml roles, and that he thought parasite would open more doors for him internationally :( I really hope he finds what he likes, I miss seeing him on screen other than variety stuff.

Why was he so sure that she was gonna die with him out of the picture? It makes no sense. She could've died even after they broke up, he didn't know that she wouldn't. And the fact that he is aware of the changes to the timeline as they are happening in the present is ??? when the timeline changes it just changes and he lives that life, for example the brief moment the daughter didn't exist and he mentioned her to his friend on the phone, if she didn't exist , he wouldn't know her either.

it's getting good ratings everywhere but here, don't worry. intense violence or dark comedy stuff tends to not do well on here because the average MDL demographic is kinder on romantic comedies and lighthearted dramas.

Agreed. My favorite genre is thriller/crime and Koreans really excell at it. It's the reason I started watching Korean media in the first place. They are at their best when they do their thing and don't give in too much to westernization.

The show is so much more interesting from the adult characters' angle. Episode 8 and 9 were definitely the best episodes so far.

no I didn't say it was too slow, I meant I hope it gets more interesting for me. everything is very clear and easy to follow and it's pretty fast paced, just so far I'm still not emotionally hooked. I get why everyone loves it tho :)
