What is going on... Many 10/10 reviews and people saying they consider this one of the best shows they have seen in their life and then some saying this is the most poetic and beautiful screensaver that just goes on forever and nothimg interesting happens.

FL is so beautiful that I am swept up in the enthusiasm of reviews but I have no idea why ML is so perfect in everything and why he can get a special menu at restaurants and is the world's best snooker player and why his obsessive stares dont scare the girl.

Yes I had the same thought. To be fair, in real life most people would probably freeze with fear and become immobile like the show. But as a viewer I agree. It is aggravating how they just do nothing at times. It seems common in Korean horror. Maybe everyone is too polite to just turn around and run off without saying something.

It is nowhere as slow as that Alchemy show. It moves fairly quickly in my opinion. It reminds me a bit of a video game though. But anyways I thought it was pretty good and intelligent script.

A bit harsh. I do agree about the monologues while they are about to die. I was gritting my teeth quite a few times and so I started fast forwarding scenes after that. But overall I thought script had intelligent characters.
The one character I wish got eaten and chewed was that idiot who knew location of dynamite and ran like an idiot to his dead friend and then becomes a frozen chicken seconds later and keeps calling for help. Reminds me of an NPC. Several times I felt like these characters were NPC characters.
It captured me and I watched entire 14 episodes in 1 sitting this long weekend before New Year's.
Female lead is captivating. So were male leads. And the story and dialogues were intelligent. Unlike so many other shows.

BTW, The Blue Eye Samurai on Netflix is amazing. So much story packed in 8 episodes. That's how stories should be. No stupidity. Characters do things with a brain and talk with a brain. Unlike most of the anime these days. No stupid silliness. No wasted fillers. No scenes where somenoe is about to kill someone and spends next 10 minutes giving their life story or talking about their pet snake that died when they were young and then their enemy escapes. Some of the best action animation on the screen. I think seems to be mix of 3D and 2D. So much better animation than 95% of the anime out there.

On episode 11. I feel so bad for Dong-seok for wasting so many of his years being hurt by this woman. If there are any Dong-seok's out there, do not waste your life with Seon-a in your life. Move on. Women like her will always cause you pain. They are broken people. Nobody can fix them except for themselves.
I think some of the reviews are right. After episode 9, it becomes agonizingly slow... I grinded it out to episode 11 and couldn't take it anymore and skipped to 16 and watched backwards to 14. I don't think I missed much in between.
Watching episode 8 so far. It's definitely slow. This show is entertainment. Hope nobody actually follows what these people do in real life. It will only lead to miserable pain to love someone and wait for them unconditionally. Don't waste your life to be a hero. Move on.
