ML-FL chemistry is so friggin hawt everytime they are together... you can feel the passion.. I just wish they…
"OMG Why tf is ML kissing a married FL ughhhh" " Omg why are they normalizing cheating ughhh"
while ML's entire persona so far has been just being shady af with a grey moral compass. Can't even comprehend how stupid some of these weird comments sound where they cherry pick the issue which is convenient for them. They just screaming below:
"My fragile a.. cannot tolerate only infidelity in a drama coz my stupid brain was expecting a supposed 'dark' thriller show to have a typical kdrama romance full of fluff & loyalty where ML & FL are forbidden to kiss/fornicate with a different person.. but I can totally accept ML doing shady things.. I am cool like that" Like seriously đ
ML-FL chemistry is so friggin hawt everytime they are together... you can feel the passion.. I just wish they had more screen time together đ„”đ„
And it's funny some lunatics are still crying like school kids about FL's supposed 'cheating' conveniently forgetting how the ML himself is literally a grey character here trying to scam a fund which is the whole ass plot btw. But they are so happy for ML to go on his revenge even at the cost of scamming as it apparently doesn't bother your social media brownie point scoring 'moral' compass but FL marrying someone else for her own gain is suddenly where you draw the line? LMFAO @ all these stupid af comments I am seeing here.. Make it make sense đđ€Š
Romance with a married woman?! what kind of dirty shit is this. Their relationship should be over since she end…
I literally just told you that someone with a retarded mindset like you doesnât deserve âniceâ language. I will be rude af coz you are acting like a freakin 4 year old. Lol, as if you would get respect elsewhere with such retarded opinions on friggin fiction đ€Ł
Romance with a married woman?! what kind of dirty shit is this. Their relationship should be over since she end…
Dramas are fiction idiot. Itâs meant for fâŠ.in timepass. Period. Itâs not meant to educate you on societal values. You gotta go to school for that but looking at your stupid af reply, I can guess you havenât been to one. Jesus effin christ đ€Šđ»ââïž
Romance with a married woman?! what kind of dirty shit is this. Their relationship should be over since she end…
I absolutely will coz I donât intend to waste time to try & have sane arguments with half witted clowns like you who canât differentiate fiction from reality & take every effin thing seriously as if it impacts your own friggin life. Honestly weirdos like you deserve zero respect. Bugger off doofus
Romance with a married woman?! what kind of dirty shit is this. Their relationship should be over since she end…
Lol, are you a freakin weirdo that canât even separate reality from fiction? You literally proved what a grade A đ€Ą you are. My comment is meant for idiots like you.
Mu Cheng Yun doesn't seem to understand the concept of giving space to the girl he is trying to pursue. My question, Is he written the same way in novel too or just changed like this here for drama experience?
No issues with him purusing FL tho as she is still single as per her own words. It's just way he pursues is very triggering like he keeps peeking at her texts, touchy touchy while she is working without any sense of boundaries when she hasn't even returned any interest back, forces his way to make her coffee despite her hesitation & now forcing his way into looking at their apartment despite her saying no etc. Such a red flag behavior through and through. So i got curious if the character is supposed to be like that in the novel.
The World of the Married is completely different from this lol. They werenât simps for the ones they cheated…
I hate these 'gatekeepers' who think there is only one gold standard way of telling specific genres & yap BS everywhere projecting their own insecurities & shamelessly tries to pass them off as facts. I am gonna always call out these miserable doofus bunch. lol
Iâm genuinely curious tbh... what exactly makes you think heâs bad at choosing scripts when the showâs already…
Ofcourse MDL portrays a picture about what majority likes. But what I am saying is that it's just one medium. For ex: A show could have 7.5 ratings here in MDL & still could be a hit in korea doing great numbers on ratings. Can we call that as an actor not choosing good scripts coz it didn't appeal to non korean audience? No. That's my point.
Iâm genuinely curious tbh... what exactly makes you think heâs bad at choosing scripts when the showâs already…
Haha, MDL ratings doesn't mean he is bad at choosing his scripts girl. Lol. Like i said, it's merely your personal taste not aligning. If the show does numbers on nielsen ratings & streaming, it clearly means majority liked it. As simple as that. I am not questioning your taste at all. I am a big defender of 'to each their own'. A show can get 30% on nielsen & I could still end up dropping it. But that doesn't mean the actor has chosen a bad script. That's my point
it is so pity, but PHS is really bad at choosing scripts...(
Iâm genuinely curious tbh... what exactly makes you think heâs bad at choosing scripts when the showâs already flirting with double-digit ratings after just 2 episodes? And thatâs not even counting the Disney+ streaming numbers lol
Did it ever cross your mind that maybeâjust maybeâitâs less about PHSâs script choices and more about your own taste not aligning? coz from where Iâm standing, it looks like he picked a script that's about to deliver the ratings , streaming numbers and hand him another hit
The World of the Married is completely different from this lol. They werenât simps for the ones they cheated…
Lol, you really just exposed yourself as the exact brainless crowd my original comment was aimed at...the type that yaps first, thinks never. But fine, Iâll dumb it down⊠not that I expect someone with your peanut-sized intellect (based on your stupid af comment projecting your personal bias like itâs the gold standard for what romance should be) to get it.
Simp? Seriously? You thought heâd just flip a switch and unlove someone he dumped an heiress for? Someone he has literally tattooed on his wrist? đ
And while you're busy embarrassing yourself let me break it down. The World of the Married was merely an example.. a textbook case of how romance and revenge can still slap when the writing hits. Cheating? It's literally a common subplot within romance, genius. Whatâs next? You inventing a whole new genre just to cope? Infidelity can be a part of romantic storytelling & the show can still deliver. There's like gazillion of em. If your fragile sensibilities canât handle that, cry about it. Itâs a you problem, not the showâs & most certainly doesn't mean a show cannot be a success with it. Lol.
Also, weâre 2 episodes in. Thereâs freakinâ 14 more to go. Jumping to conclusions this early isnât just dumb...itâs impressively dumb. Maybe try watching the show fully instead of yapping like an idiot who mistakes personal bias for facts. đ
I personally loved the romance part. I could see the male lead kiss all day every damn day.
Same. I loved their intimate scenes. I already know we wonât get much from next episodes but I wish we did. They look so passionate when they are intimate together & it makes a beautiful watch for me personally :)
Anyone else also tired of these 'revenge' & 'thriller' plot gatekeepers always whining about the inclusion of romance? Like come on, crying incessantly about how romance ruins the vibe in revenge plots is just plain dumb. Some of yall acting as if 'The World of the Married' didnât smash 30% ratings and dominate Korea to become the highest rated in cable tv ever. Penthouse is another great example of a smashing hit with romance subplots driving the main themes. Your taste & perception of a genre isnât law for how well the show is made & received.
For ex: As for me, I would love to see the FL & ML continue to have a steamy affair in next episodes even tho she is married. Does it suddenly mean that romance makes it better for revenge plots now? No, it's merely my personal preference & taste. Some like em, some don't like em. Your 'personal preferences' doesn't really 'ruin' a show. geez
Romance doesnât ruin revengeâBad writing does. Stop pushing baseless narratives just because it doesnât fit your perception of how a genre should be made. Period
I suspect the romance is going to kill this drama. They need to really tone down the romance to almost nil and…
How does romance ruin a revenge plot? đ If anything, it starts half the revenge stories. There are like gazillion smashing hits with both romance & revenge which did pretty well. Don't push untrue takes as if they are facts. It's just your own preference & taste.
The 2nd episode jumped 2% in viewership & now they are just 2% short of double figures. Good for SBS & Looks like another hit for disney+ in korea. I am sure they have great numbers too wrt streaming. If the same intensity & intrigue keeps up in next few episodes, they will hit double figure rating soon. I wonder if those steamy kisses played a part as well (it certainly did for me ngl lol ;) )
Man, I love it when a lesser known 'actor' ends up leading a project with big names & it actually pops off. Like you just know how tough the grind was, with their industry so hooked on idol-driven star power culture. Thatâs why potential hits like these are such game-changers for up-and-coming actors like say hong hwa yeon here.
In the preview, you can see the distressed FL in car... I guess ML will get captured right after he kisses her in next episode as it's probably a setup. so I am sure yeom family used her feelings or relationship with ML to lure him back to capture him & try to k word him. I guess that's the ocean part.
" Omg why are they normalizing cheating ughhh"
