I don’t know about other countries, but this show has already become a massive hit in China. It’s literally the most discussed Korean drama across all Chinese social media platforms, with impressive numbers to back it up. I mention this because it genuinely makes me very happy to see actual actors, rather than overrated idols who cannot act for life, getting the recognition they truly deserve👏
Oh come on, LYK is a decent actor but that over-the-top smile he pulls is just painfully annoying. The way he bares every single tooth in such an obviously forced manner gives off an unsettling vibe rather than charm or projects innocence(which is what he is hoping for). It works for his usual comedic roles, but in this context, it’s jarring and distracts from the character to the point where you would think how come 2 women are falling for that dude. Sigh
And I think this is where I drop it. I was giving it a chance this far only for the second FL who was kinda carrying it if I might say that? (not that her plot was great but her acting was pretty good & classy) And they even ruined her just to bring the main leads together. Very unfortunate as second FL had a lot of potential here. FL is good too. Unfortunate for them they are part of a garbage project like this which atleast needed a better ML cast who is capable of carrying such mediocre script on his own with his acting. LYK is a great misfit here.
Oh boy, I have been feeling that stagnation wrt kdramas recently but it finally ends here. It's been a very long time since the first episode goes off to a blistering start like this. No lags, I mean not a single minute of drag. Keeps you hooked right from the first minute till the end. I am sold af coz it's been a while since I have felt like this in regards to a kdrama !!
From the preview of next episode, I get a feeling that it's gonna get even better esp. with the cat & mouse play of husband & wife. A very exciting plot instead of all the stale af romance plots we have been seeing off late. Damn, they cooked well :)
My genuine thoughts after 10 eps. I honestly feel like they have made Sanha borderline unlikeable in places. He blurts out things that are downright hurtful, with zero apologies and honestly, it gives off this overbearing, dogmatic vibe, especially with Juwon and Haejun. Like, whenever Haejun tries to join him on anything to help or even just back him up, he just shuts him down with this “I’ll handle it” attitude, as if he’s got it all under control. Then there’s the ep10 ending – he races off to stop Juwon just because he’s worried she might meet someone else. Seriously? It’s been ten whole years since she’s seen him, a DECADE! Why is he acting so petty instead of just handling things maturely? What if she actually did have someone in her life all these years he was absent?
The confession was honestly infuriating coz he didn't spend any effort since he was back to properly apologise or atleast put in some effort to learn from her reg whatever happened in her life all these years etc.. Instead of blurting out that confession just because you’re terrified she might slip through your fingers – when, let’s be real, you were the one who ghosted her all along, regardless of your so-called circumstances. At that moment, all he could think about was the threat of her becoming someone else’s, like she was some trophy he was entitled to. Meanwhile, he never even bothered to acknowledge the pain she carried from being left behind. But here he is, out of nowhere, dropping a confession as if that’s going to patch things up.
That’s exactly why the confession felt so out of place and honestly, a bit cringy for me. Sanha still carries himself with that same imperious attitude he had a decade ago, showing zero character growth. I mean, how am I supposed to root for him to end up with the FL when he’s stuck in this stagnant, overbearing vibe?
Meanwhile, Haejun On the other hand has been a total standout. His character is written with care, and the actor brings him to life with so much authenticity – it's hard not to like him. This is just my personal take, but Sanha is just plain irksome at this point, while Juwon, Haejun, and Dal are all so effortlessly charming. The contrast is jarring, especially knowing that the FL is supposed to fall for someone like Sanha. Honestly, it’s a hard sell for me! 🤦
Despite all of this, I think it's still an enjoyable watch. Thanks for reading my rant xD
I pray to god JCW never stops doing action stuff. OMFG, He is so effin cool when it comes to badass action sequences. No one. I mean NO ONE does it better than him in Korea. He is simply phenomenal in this genre
The show is okayish time pass actually but I do understand the ratings. I feel like this should have been 2 episodes per day schedule to keep people interested. The plot isn't strong or interesting enough to just have 1 episode per day. It will make people lose interest quickly. I have no idea the reasoning behind such stupid scheduling at all. Anyway I think it's best to binge it once it's done airing. It will be a decent watch by then I hope
Sorry Hwang in youp but I have to admit here, Bae Hyeon Seong is eating up others in the acting department. His acting is so realistic like wow. I was stunned by how effortlessly he can switch between being cheerful & suffering from emotional distress reg the mom yet make it all convincing . And guy is only 25 👏
She couldnt care enough coz chen shen was a plot device. lol. Just like the nurse. But I actually felt bad more for the nurse. He unnecessarily led her on :/
She was sooo good as the 2nd FL in I’ve Fallen For You.
Yeah, But for me, this is the first time seeing her & felt she was eating up everyone else easily . Then looked at her MDL page comments & people were already posting comments insinuating how she isn't a prominent lead yet dating back to year atleast. That's how I knew she must have already done well in her previous projects too. Sadly, she is still playing second fiddle :/
I think unlikely anytime soon coz I just checked her page in MDL & people were already wondering why she isn't getting main lead projects since almost a year in MDL & yet she still hasn't been able to bag one till now. It very much depends on getting a breakthrough show. For example, I felt Lu Yuxiao was like this until she got a breakthrough hit in MJTY. I was so happy for her. I just wish something like this can happen to CHL
But unless CHL can land in one such successful show, talented artists like her continue to remain underappreciated or play second fiddle throughout their career. It's an unfortunate truth :/
Easily and by a country mile. She is literally the only reason I kept going. Unbelievably good actress . CXX is a good actor too but unfortunately he is left to hard carry alone. So honestly if it were to me, I would have simply made her the main FL ngl xD
LXX so cute holding LYZ tightly to the point of choking him coz she has been missing him way too bad. She portrayed the role of being so down for a guy beautifully 😂
Yes, the show is dull & uninteresting af but very thankful to this show I found an actress I can look forward to in Chen Haolan who is unbelievably good with so much charisma & screen presence with such convincing acting prowess. She is totally a main lead material. I don't know how this show fared in China but it would be a shame if she still doesn't get to do Main Lead projects despite being so good in her job.
On a friendly note, you really gotta chill tbh. I think everyone in the comment section already get your point…
To each their own indeed. Personally I didn't like either of the plots from doctor couple or the main leads.. I watch this show only to see how LXX-LYZ are gonna end up together & then I am done 🤣

Honestly the drama itself is very subpar for me. Main leads are incredibly boring & dull. I only watch LYZ & LXX plot esp. for LXX. She is stunning & also better actress than FL in this show
On a friendly note, you really gotta chill tbh. I think everyone in the comment section already get your point…
Fairs but it felt like you were way too much into a character that only gave plot device vibes till now. So the potential for disappointment is way higher for you. Hence 🤣

Very unlikely here. She turned him down basically coz she is not over him. So with just 10 eps left, she is not gonna get over him and then move on to chen shen. There are scenes in the credits where LYZ is saving her from something or atleast lifting her up & taking her. I bet they will soon rekindle their romance & likely LYZ chasing her again. Also already read somewhere in the novel, they do end up together. Chen shen & the nurse are only plot devices in the drama to make them realize their love for each other afaig.
