Where did I insinuate that it's wrong to express opinions here? People can express anything they want. But just as they can, I can also call out the brazen stupidity in complaining about nudity in a 18+ show. That's exactly what I did here🤷‍♂️

My disappointment is about people not discussing the plot enough & instead yapping about something trivial af. Not the show itself. Try to grasp what's being said before offering uncalled for sermons :)

It's a 'you' problem. The show was always marketed as 18+. so it's your fault if you let yourself uninformed & if a show is marketed as 18+, you literally have to expect everything from nudity to violence at any extremes. It's common sense. That's the whole effin point of giving rating to a show so that the audience are prepared & only adults are allowed to watch. What are you even on about 'intrigue' nonsense here?

Came here for the comments to try & see if some of my confusions from the 4 episodes are clarified by people or if they discuss the actual plot to understand if I misunderstood something from the plot

but instead there's like gazillion comments crying & judging the sex scenes in a show that was literally marketed as a 18+ mature audience content & a period one at that which made it all the more obvious of what to expect ... *smh*.
What a disappointment to see the section filled with full of puerile comments when there was so much going on in the show.. sigh🤦

Precisely my worry. Her agency aren't doing a good job since reborn rich. This drama is slated for channel A which is a very small channel with very limited audience. In addition she is also getting hate for the agegap. Such a terrible move from her company :/

Nowhere in my comments I have even remotely insinuated that the knetz comments are more valid than INTL ones tho? I was merely calling out the common brazen attitude to flag anything critical about your fav leads shows as ‘unnecessary hate’ instead of trying to digest the possibility of it being an actual valid criticism from their pov. You aren't getting it. Any shows that struggles to even meet 1% in korea is a huge disaster for the artist anyway. Especially for a non A lister like shin hyun been.

It's bombing the ratings in korea. So it doesn't matter if a small chunk of people like it here. It's still a disastrous choice for her career growth unfortunately.

Your original comment flagged 'unnecessary hate' for the show in MDL when there wasn't any & was quite the contrast with more unnatural positive reviews in comparison to reaction in qoo. That's my whole point. I am not invalidating anything here. My only issue is, why is there a difficulty to digest any critical comments for your fav shows & blindly assuming it as hate like all the time? Does it always have to be heavily positive just coz you like the show or the main cast? I know you have changed your views in the above comment but that wasn't the case with your original comment which made me reply in the first place

I normally ignore such stan laced comments but the way you have worded this gave me second hand embarrassment that I couldn't overlook but reply.

1) The comment section is literally bombarded with main cast fans positive comments even though the latest episodes were a drag & had sluggish screenplay.
2) There's almost 15+ reviews already for a show with a mere 4 episodes, all giving bumped up positive reviews.
3) There's bunch of ratings from same set of hardcore fans for all the episodes that aren't even aired yet bumped with 10s.
4) The couple's chemistry got mixed reviews from Koreans themselves. You can look up the qoo app yourself if you know korean where actual koreans have discussed this show. It's full of mixed reviews & complaints unlike the scenario you see here in MDL. Do you insinuate that this is 'unnecessary' hate too or does it classify as being 'critical' as it's from native watchers? Lol

What irked me is the audacious fabricating here as if the show is getting some 'unnecessary' hate here & not being criticized for it's actual flaws. Don't be so phony. It's very corny & gives a major ick.

I feel so bad for Shin Hyun Been tbh. A very talented actress but girl having continuous disasters wrt her career projection. Reborn Rich should have elevated her career with the kind of success the show had but instead it proved to be a costly mistake for her as they really did her dirty with her portions. Since then, nothing seems to be going her way. Back to back projects now with disastrous ratings. And this one was doomed for failure ever since it was announced. Please change the company before it's too late girl, they are ruining you 😭

MDL is often full of hardcore fans of popular main casts & ofc they will tell you there is 'insane' chemistry even when there is none. However, the show is actually receiving mixed reviews there in korea+ the knetz seem to mainly complain about the lack of chemistry as well. So you have a valid point here (For me personally, more than chemistry, the plot & storytelling is just bland to keep me interested).
