But I did read multiple people saying she bore a kid from emperor/XJY & that was the reason for XJS to kill her later as that kid was a threat to him being legal heir.. Meaning she was atleast pregnant (I meant that only when I said they had a kid.. meaning she got pregnant & not give birth to the kid itself..). Is this also incorrect?

I mean if this is true, then atleast I can still watch the sister storyline instead of skipping it. Otherwise no interest to watch a character be a lovesick fool all the time without bringing any actual value at all. Hope we get some captivating arc for her character like this spoiler indicates

Just read a spoiler that XJY and princess FXY even have a kid in the novel 😮 It seems he even begged XJS in order to protect FXY as he was trying to kill her since she was carrying XJY's kid who is a legitimate heir to throne & a threat to XJS. I don't even know if it will be adultery route since XJS keeps ignoring her for now but if it's indeed going to be adultery in love, that's a twist I never saw coming at all 😂
I wonder if they had followed the same plot in the show but as XJY is already showing interest in her, it maybe heading that way.

Little confused by previews coz in Ep19 preview, it seems FL has already figured out murong yao as the bad guy but he tells her to act with restraint as the emperor will die soon.... but in Ep20, it seems ML is still with him. I wonder if FL was threatened with something 🤔

It's good they are still keeping you curious with the previews half way through. I was worried if it might start to drag once the leads got together.

Can Xi Yang be killed off soon? I am asking for real.. What an incredibly annoying character. Everytime I am so invested with how the ML is cleverly scheming things & yet she is always there in the middle to ruin it playing the sister card using his love for her as a bargaining chip. It would have been much better if she was atleast as scheming as her brother as well but no, just a lovesick stupid. It wouldn't have bothered much if she was just a dumb character on the sidelines but the way she keeps ruining ML's clever plans is so painful to watch lol

Ah wow, what you said made a lot of sense. Now I guess the very likely outcome is that he was in a way forced to shoot her, so he did what was necessary without killing her. So i guess his intention regarding FL is genuine. I totally forgot about the Murong Yao guy. Right. Now I can somewhat guess his character. Thank you :)

Exactly. But it's good they still keep us guessing about what happened in the cliff. There are many possible outcomes I can think of. He really maybe a double faced guy who was simply using her for her skills under the pretense of love or he could be innocent & someone framed him in some way or forced him to kill her (likely) or FL could have made the choice herself by falling off the cliff unable to digest his betrayal or he really loved her, maybe somewhat innocent in this whole killing her thing & it wasn't even him in the cliff. Someone just pretended & FL mistook that fragment of her memory after seeing that pendant. So I am curious to see which one of these it will be.

I just hope they give proper justification for these longing stares he is giving FL romantically otherwise it makes no sense to have these scenes we saw today.

My pov is, From flashbacks, they did show him promising marriage and her agreeing to it. So if he really did love her or if they were lovers in the past, those sad puppy stares definitely make sense. But if he was indeed the one who shot her, it means he definitely didn't love her enough. He is obviously craving for power, FL probably confronted him about his collusion with someone from enemy side & he shot her to bury the secret or maybe he was forced to make a choice & he tried to shoot her without the intention of killing her? (very likely). But all these lingering stares at her can only mean he didn't really intend to kill FL in the cliff.. Again, i really doubt it if they will confirm this early it was the SML who shot her with deceitful intentions, maybe there is a twist in here & he maybe really innocent wrt trying to kill the FL? IDK

I hope there is a good justification for his behavior & that flashback gives us a proper closure regarding his character. Personally I hope he is just a double faced douche who betrayed her & then later regretted ngl 😂

I think at this point we can already safely deduce it was him who shot her, so all these sad puppy faces he is pulling when ML is close with FL really confuses me. Like bro do you really like her romantically at all? If you are only worried if she is gonna spill the secrets about you, then why have those affectionate stares at FL when she is close with ML. Pick a struggle brother 😂
