It really great intro into the series and after all Bl which started airing in July its quality is like a breath of fresh air for me. As for Pan manager she is dealing with "star" and need to take the villain role so her pupil could have an image of an innocent baby - I for sure would be tired as hell dealing with it. There is also an interesting power struggle going on - Pan seems to have more power at the first glance but he is living in company housing (with other company stars) without much privacy while (if he is smart - not so sure yet ) aware that his fame can end as quickly as it started. At the end of day, crew workers can be a pretty united group (my ex work as a special effect guy) and they talk, there is nothing worse for an actor to have the label of being difficult to work with. Just like in the scene where both Not and Pan entered the set - it is easy to imagine who the crew prefers to work with and who they will recommend to their coworkers in other crews.
Really liked the first episode, after so many recent new Bl flops it really stands up. I really liked how 1 episode concentrated on people rather than the industry. Because the industry is what it is - industry. People inside make it what it is and only they can change it. But what the hell they were thinking not translating any comments and social media? They are a big part of the story and the next episode seems to be centered on social media drama.

But Boun roots were more difficult to fix than full head of pink hair. You just need a washable colored hair spray (They are not even expensive) and just adjust his hair color with it. You need less than 5 min. to fix it - that why it bug me...
I was bored so I read about 5 chapters of the original novel and I must say that the drama is pretty faithful to the source material, of course, some scenes were added up but the majority of book plot is kept the same. The book was written from a first-person perspective so it gives the readers good insight into Taley character. Taley in book is funny, confident, quirky, and kinda mouthy in a charming kind of way making him a good and likable rom-com protagonist. This make me think of a bar scene where Sea and Ohm both played Taley - Ohm version was much more confident and mouthy while Sea version was taking a step back afraid to step on anyone's toes. Do I need to say which one makes a better rom-com protagonist?
This drama is a living example of things going wrong. 1)It is based on a novel (that is not too long) from what I heard and probably would only need 5 episodes in total for the story it wants to tell. But what production do stretch it out for 10 episodes... 2) Some side characters have almost the same screentime as the main couple 3) Band that is shown time after time still didn't play even 10 seconds of music 4) What is the point of giving the character pink hair if in every shot he has a different shade of pink on his head? 5) Pavel is such a hotty - just why did they give him such an unflattering hairstyle? His character Plengrak is so dull that it would really help this show if Pavel natural hotties could distract viewers at last a little. 6) Duean Yi character not only took some inspiration from Nuea from Cutie Pie but they even styled the actor in a similar vibe while even the actor's delivery of lines is like blunt copy.... 7) Duean Yi character is not likable - he is behaving like an entitled young master (no wonder check - point 6) 8) Too many side characters that were introduced, given screen time but disappear. I know that they needed to stretch this show to 10 episodes but they couldn't think of a better way? 9) Script is bad - to the point that i am sure that if I asked a group of middle schoolers to write it, I would get better results than what we are getting.
I will end here because i still can continue for several points..
I’m not surprised since the only good GMMTV BL’s are Not Me and A Tale of a Thousand Stars🙈And the director…
Never been too much of fan of ATOTS due how they censored it to get into Chinese market... While Sotus and TOL really put GMMTV on BL fans radar and are still enjoyable watch even after a few years since they werr first aired. But everyone taste differ :)
This drama is like cutie pie ... The beginning is good it makes you feel anticipated what s gonna happen next…

It can go either way, If Talay and Puen had more romantic tension episode 3 would be a nice start to their relationship building. But there is no spark between them 🙄🙄🙄 making me personally feel like I am watching fanservice mixed with product placement and not romance drama...
