Isn't it ironic that if the FL does these kinds of things, it's considered acceptable, but if our ML does the same thing, he's labeled as bad? What kind of logic is this?
I don't want them together in part 2. Hopefully, they cross paths fight for their country or for saving their country, but I don't wish for the ML to still pursue her because she truly doesn't deserve him. Instead, I hope the ML and 2FL develop great chemistry and a storyline where we can move beyond their troubled past relationship. That would be an improvement. I just hope they both live happy in their own life.

I think there is a high chance they'll meet at the end of ep 9, they ve met in almost every ep so far
I think for building the anticipation for the next part, they will surely going to end on the cliffhanger, like GC knows about he is alive, and she is going to meet him, this and that you can actually imagine what they'll do. That'll be more torturous for us but surely, they will be going to hype up this in that way.

It seems like you haven't watched awaken yet that's why you are saying. Awaken is such a spectacular drama. I think it's good that it is on the 6th spot of that list, it's better than some overhyped dramas. I think in terms of acting he (NKM) is one of the best actors out there so, we shouldn't be surprised because when popular celebrity like idol/actor gets more vote or attention because of their fan following then we all say that they are not deserving look at him/her such good actors didn't get much attention because they are not popular enough, but now when they are, here we are condemning it.
I think Gil Chae's obsession with Yeon Jun stems from the fact that maybe Yeon Jun never reciprocated her feelings in any way, shape or form like the others, who were very much smitten by her. And she saw it as a challenge on how to win him over. So, for her it'll be hard to forget the feelings she had for Yeon Jun is very true because when you have liked someone for so many years, crush or not, it's hard to feel any different for them. But she can also see that Jang Hyun in many ways challenges her too. He has full faith in her and has seen first-hand how she survived and kept the others alive as well. She's smart, quick to adapt and a fighter all in all. Only that she will definitely need some time to look at Jang Hyun in the romantic way and see him for he truly is.

Exactly, that's what I meant, Gil Chae still don't know what Jang Hyun did for her did for country and on the other she still see him (JH) as selfish flirty person who has many women around him, is misogamist and she thinks he flew every time when war happens. But does that even make sense that still you act like an oblivion person after knowing these things, I mean literally he saved you and your friends (Eun Ae, her maid and Eun Ae's maid) thanks to him your crush is safe and sound, he told her to go to that Island when something happens this and that at least she knows these things still she doesn't want to believe him. And for liking him or desiring him (Yeon Jun) there is some backstory to reveal. In ep 8th preview she said something like "You don't know what he means to me" didn't remember words correctly.
