I think I'm watching an acting masterclass in this drama, KTR, OJS and HK are doing explicitly spectacular job by portraying their acting skills. This trio is my favourite in thriller/mystery dramas after The Guest.
Just finished this, It's a good drama to watch but I felt they stretched this drama too long with adding unnecessary story. One thing that I think is irrelevant to this dramas plot is it's title; The Rebel Princess. Yes, the princess Awu is good, doting wife, and has good heart but can't deny that she trusts anyone too easily, sometimes acts like a silly and she's too nosy. What I didn't like about her most is, she is too merciful anyone will get annoyed by that. But why I said the title is irrelevant, because after reading title we expect princess to be badass taking revenge, but sorry to disappoint you she doesn't. Best thing is Xiao Qi! I mean Com'on he is too fine ML, his aura, the way he speaks is too fascinating. Sometimes I felt while watching this drama that he is too good for FL.
Nevertheless, this is good watch if you are into long historical drama with politics, huge production and able to cope with minute frustrations.
Whats airing after longest promise? Feels like this will air in its place.Nvm lost you forever is airing next…
Probably they may do, if we look what they did to there high budget dramas in this month but they won't air this with lyf, first of all their full focus will on lyf, and after lyf ends the only drama that have potential to be explode in remaining 2023 is might be WOL (Just C-fans talking on the weibo) that's why they will air it after lyf ends apparantly this js scheduled to be broadcast between late August to early September.
won't continue any more, was on 24th episode, fed up from this for real. It was really boring. I've been literally downloading this drama and ff and completes each episodes in 5 to 8 minutes.
Wow what a trailer! I have one doubt, who will get more focus or screentime kids or their parents? Because on the cast lists parents are Lead roles and in the synopsis they are talking about kids.
Exactly, I'm wandering the same thing. This series is supposed to be 10⭐ already.
I also enjoy rom-com drama after watching thriller/mystery. But the problem is, they are just making same story = lame story and everyone is like ooh! what a drama, look he/she so hot "My Parents" -> this is so common lmao, "What a kiss" like wtf. I know everyone has its own perspective and whether to like or dislike different genre dramas are subjective but hyping those and ignoring these kinds of dramas is baffling to me. There should be multitude of dramas like Revenant, The Guest, King of Pigs, Mouse, Weak Hero...

This drama and its popularity is worst than LIKM if we see the douban score.

Congratulations for winning best new actor award.
