To be fair, though fairness is impossible at the moment, she can probably leave, she just needs to let Xueting go. It’s not Chang Xian’s fault that Xueting did that anyway. CX is going to go out of his way to help her fix Xuetings’s mess.
I wish the writers would let them have a sit down where he says well you don’t have to be here and I don’t have to clean up Xueting’s mess.
That would be nice and I feel like his character could do it … but in their version I understand that instead he’s too desperate to keep her to say that and too proud too. I do think it would have been a slightly less uncomfortable portrayal but I understand that it’s okay to take a more uncomfortable route too

I was hoping that the episodes before the fire would build their relationship before she loses her memory, but it’s just 2 episodes after she leaves his place and before the fire… I don’t think that’s enough, but we’ll just have to see.
