EP 21: Ranran has discovered that Ranwu is posing as Qingge and she goes to tell Yi Shui. I'm trying to understand why He doesn't tell her that he already knows and that he'll explain why she gets to stay later. He doesn't tell her anything at all. I don't understand the purpose of this. Is this because he wants to push her away? If so, then he can do that while still making it clear that he doesn't disregard her existence. Also, I don't believe that he would leave her without supervision when Ranwu is around. Doesn't match his personality, but I'll suspend my disbelief for that
imo his acting is really impressive here. His expressions and actions seem thoughtful and nuanced. It comes off as pretty impressive to me. I feel that he's getting the good looking comments because he's so good-looking that people are worried that they're biased. I don't think the script and delivery are easy enough that anyone can do it this well. It requires grandiose and silliness but not to the extent that it's unbelievable, which makes it a bit more challenging to pull off without ending up as just silly, but He (as well as Yoona ofc) are seriously believable in the roles. The script and directing are top-notch, but a good number of people don't just say he's good-looking , they're are also saying his acting was impressive.
that's a really shame, however we are all different, i really like this and thought the FL did a good job and…
I also feel that she was pretty convincing as a boy. She has a slight figure and a pretty face, but her mannerisms, posture, gaze and the way she would speak were quite boyish to me. The way she talked and carried herself, even in moments when she was dressed as a girl, rarely felt completely girly except when she was drunk and purposely trying to be girly. Her tone of speech was always strongly assertive. The way she sat and approached other people felt like a nearly constant reminder in the back of my mind that she was raised boy, which was very cool to me. A boy raised in a rich family with a lot of decision-making power early on. Something like that. I've not recently watched a girl more convincing in such a role in a long while
Why people are calling her stupid is... well, her father gave her a keepsake and told her to find the governor…
I will never understand it when writers choose this sort of misunderstanding. Itâs so obvious and irrational. They never even give acceptable logic for it
So far I'm liking the drama. I am finishing up ep 7. Does anyone have the same feeling that FL is a bit weak all…
Naaa. That first time with the King time was a completely different circumstance. She thought she was in the modern times, thought he was cosplaying as King the entire time she tied him up, but the time with the assassins she knew he was actually King, knew they were actually assassins and that her life (and his life now that she knows and cares) really were on the line. Ignorance is bliss and in the second case she had no ignorance so of course she was actually really afraid
For a show thatâs only 12 episodes it makes sense that they focused on her growth as an associate. Of course…
Youâre right that the rule might not be enforced strictly but it would be an ethical issue for him anyway since it was his idea in the first place (that seniors and juniors could not date). I think it wasnât so difficult for the second couple because theyâre on the same level at work- neither of them is more senior than the other in hierarchy so
completed another masterpiece, it was so painful to watch like my dearest... one was hiding their real feelings…
Imo a key difference between the ML of My Dearest and the ML of Ths Red Sleeve is that the ML from The Red Sleeve loved as though he was taking (from the FL) and the ML from My Dearest loved as though he was giving (to the FL). I think itâs a really interesting point

Yi San would never have believed that his selfishness would have been her/ their undoing if it had not actually happened to him. I mean, who wouldâve thought it would go so badly? They had horrible luck. If he had let her be she could have served quietly by his side as she wanted for the rest of his life. Itâs such a sad thing.
My enjoyment of it was so profound that every other technical issue is whatever. I need moreeee. The cases are…
For a show thatâs only 12 episodes it makes sense that they focused on her growth as an associate. Of course there are feelings here and there but just because there are feelings doesnât mean there are no barriers. Since sheâs his subordinate itâs a bit more complicated since the no dating rule was his idea in the first place and sheâs much younger. At first he noticed her noticing him and then slowly warmed up to her, but I donât think that he for one day thought of her like that directly until the date. Considering his personality he probably rejected and denied it even then. And that shows his responsibility tbh and is true to character. Heâs a rational and responsible adult (in this case) so how can anyone be mad? lol. The show did not fail. If there had been 4 more episodes then maybe and that would still be a maybe. But if there were 8 more then they could appropriately show the characters consider if they really could. At the very least sheâd probably have to move teams which would be a shame.
My enjoyment of it was so profound that every other technical issue is whatever. I need moreeee. The cases are very interesting too, even the politics was well done. Will there really be no season 2? That would be understandable too. Instead of the end being an end itâs the beginning of new stories. I found the plot, pacing and themes well balanced for how much was going on.
