So yall admit that she's acting like a child? Thank you!
Playing a ditzy character is not an actual personality trait. It is a stereotype that infantilizes women and reduces them to their appearance and behavior. There is a clear difference between acting like a child and acting like an adult, and it has nothing to do with height or physical features. It has to do with how women are portrayed and perceived in the media and society. Acting like a child may imply that women are naive, dependent, and submissive, which may lead to their exploitation and oppression. Acting like an adult may imply that women are intelligent, independent, and assertive, which may lead to their empowerment and respect. I don’t think that viewing her acting as childlike makes me a pedo. I think it makes me a critic who is concerned about the hyper-sexualization and infantilization of women in Asian media, which has a long and problematic history.

THIS!!!! The onus of learning to separate acting from reality and what it's seen as does not fall on the drama…
The drama itself has a responsibility to portray women in a respectful and realistic way, not in a way that infantilizes or fetishizes them. Acting is not just a form of entertainment, but also a form of representation and communication. It influences how people perceive and relate to each other, especially across different cultures and backgrounds. If the drama depicts women as cute, childish, and submissive, it may reinforce harmful stereotypes and prejudices that affect the lives and opportunities of real women. It may also normalize and justify the hyper-sexualization and objectification of women, which may lead to violence and discrimination. Therefore, the drama and the watchers both have a role to play in challenging and changing these problematic portrayals of women in Asian media.

The protagonist is adorable and is an ADULT woman, if some end up imagining her as a child when she is an adult…
First of all, I don’t think that people who criticize this trope have dirty minds. I think they have valid concerns about the infantilization of women in Asian media, which has a long and problematic history. This trope may not only imply paedophilia, but also reinforce gender stereotypes and power dynamics that are unfair and oppressive to women. Second, I don’t think that this is a matter of personal preference or opinion. I think this is a matter of social justice and human dignity. Women deserve to be treated as adults, not as children, and to have agency and autonomy over their own lives. Third, I don’t think that this is a phenomenon that is exclusive to Asia. I think this is a global issue that affects women of all cultures and backgrounds. However, I also think that this issue is more prevalent and visible in Asian media, due to the popularity and influence of the Kawaii culture, which often promotes cuteness and innocence as desirable traits for women.

Is this about the main actress or is there content like this in the series?
The trope of women acting cute or childish in Asian media originated from the Sino-Japanese war, when Japanese men exoticized and sexualized Chinese women. Criticizing these tropes for their harmful and problematic implications does not mean projecting weird thoughts onto these women. It means being aware of how women are represented in the media. These shows or tropes are not cute or enjoyable. They are disturbing and disrespectful. Supporting such tropes despite knowing their history and consequences is truly strange.

Asian shows or tropes that feature actresses who act like a child, either by dressing in childish clothes, speaking in a high-pitched voice, or behaving in a naive or immature way imply paedophilia, which is a serious and harmful issue. It’s not hard to see why this is problematic. Not everyone views these shows or tropes with rose-tinted glasses. It's clear that you guys don't have any knowledge about the study of literature.

just coz shes type casted doesn't mean she loves acting like a 12 yr old. pls stay away from her page if ur just…
You are using an ad hominem fallacy by attacking me personally instead of addressing my argument. I never said that actors who play bad guys or murderers are red flags. That is a false equivalence. Actors who play such roles are usually versatile and do not make their characters look good. But the actress only plays the same type of role - acting like a child and following the lolita concept. I do not see the actress as a child. I see her as a woman who is playing roles that are inappropriate and demeaning for her age and stature. I do not think that acting cute, ditzy, or clumsy are normal traits for female leads. I think they are stereotypes that reinforce the idea that women are weak, naive, and dependent. She acts like a child by doing things that a child would do and not a grown woman. Good example given by someone before: "the scene where she has ink all over her face and tries to get the ML to look at her papers is like a little kid who tries to draw you a picture but does not realize they have marker on their face. It is cute when a real child does it, but it is not cute when it is used as a reason for the ML to fall in love with the FL. That is why I find it disgusting to see stories where they choose women who look like teenagers and make them act like 4-5 year old innocent children"
