Ironically I was watching Splendid Politics at the same as My Dearest and found they both were about the same era and people. I kept thinking this storyline looked familiar. They both are about a certain Quin invasion .
Oh, man!!! I so didn't want him to kiss that ugly princess after all she's done to him the narcissist bitch, she's so full of herself and it felt like he was cheating on FL. I reckon that princess is going to be the death of him in the end.
Gosh, this historical has me looking forward to but dreading each episode as it comes!! I get really sad when they separate but very anxious when they are together if you know what I mean!!! The two main leads are one of the best K-drama couples ever. So much sizzle chemistry just when they look at each other. I really love this series as it is not very common that there are historicals based around royal hostages, prisoners and slaves. Looking forward to the next episodes going by the previews <3

I dropped this many times due to FL and her wimpy ways. She was cruel with words, and never took care of her own safetly which is why the mother inlaw hated about her. Used the word hate many times. Very ungrateful. I didnt think she was mind blowing beautiful as portrayed. She also led her ex boyfriend on.
I wish they had another FL, this one looked middle-aged, older than the Dr lead, and whats with all the poker faces with no emotion? Absolutelty her fault why ML was so angry at all in the way she chose to break up and the hateful words she said. Gosh too many males chasing after her, why?????
I love this series as not many historicals focus on the slavery issues and how even nobles were sold alongside the commoners. Empress Ki was a similar show. This main couple has the best chemistry Ive seen.
Why would Jang want to give his body to that arrogant psycho whore who has other bed attendants yuk yuk yuk? Making out she is ALL THAT. I loved this episode the most, especially when they locked eyes when she was being sold I screamed the ceiling down!!! Probably because there were so many hit-and-misses spotting each other, it did my head in. Looking forward to the next episode, it's been a long time coming to see them both flirting and happy. Who cares about the gutless husband in name only prick back in Joseon? bleh. This is moving up the ladder of my best historicals ever.
As for her gutless husband, he is all about the other men touching his wife. I got very angry at her for hiding from Jang because of pride. Look where it was going to take her. I see the previews and wonder why Jang couldn't buy her and take her back to Joseon. How is the ugly princess getting involved? That princess is full of it. Bed attendant? Shes nothing worse than a whore herself.
Firstly the long wait for the show to come back spoilt the last 10 episodes. Now it looks like they are focussing on the evil ones somehow redeeming themselves, Sol now running stupidly around for her father. Do Hyum was also an abused victim of that family being slapped and beaten. No wonder he became warped. My guess is now. He's going to commit suicide and Sol will receive his heart. She now will have the blood and heart of two killers. Damn girl.
The most annoying character I've ever watched is Luo Yun!!! Like a bad smell that wouldn't go away, could she not get it in her brain, the prince was not into her whatsoever throughout the whole damn drama!!!! AND to think they still allowed her to be in the same room after stabbing FL? Also where was the harem? The empress dowager did not appear until after the palace siege and who would of had alot of say.

Yes she did get paid but I felt she warranted extra as she played the most dangerous role in their revenge scheme. I felt FL was quite mean to her sometimes.
I only watched as was hoping the Dad/ML would actually show more of a spine against everyone including his daughter! That family did not deserve the beautiful humble Mi Rae, how they all turned on her except for his sister-in-law and father as fast as the bitch daughter showed up. One thing confused me. Bitch daughter had got remarried in the States so wouldn't that have meant she committed bigamy and would have made his case for divorce so much easier? I absolutely hated the way he broke up with Mi Rae, his words were so cruel, and he ended up as evil as his ex-wife, there were so many other options to break up but to say he never loved her would be absolute grief but the lovely person she is she still wouldn't give up on him. I am not into abuse myself but someone should have slapped the living lights out of her, how dare she hit Mi Rae but I loved how she started sticking up for herself. ML was an awesome actor but I felt he mainly sounded out of breath throughout the series especially when arguing.

Come on China, you need to get more actresses who dont look like kids, act like kids and talk like a kid. This FL has multiple dashing men trying to woo her and the only time she looks decent enough is when shes in a coma lying on the bed!!!
