I'm at 22. I wanna ask you people what do you like about this drama. No doubt the acting is top notch, But do…
It actually becomes much clearer once you see more of the full picture. The drama doesn’t explain things in a straightforward “here’s exactly what happened” way, it reveals pieces slowly and expects you to connect them. It’s really not that complicated once everything starts coming together. It just feels messy mid-way because you don’t have all the context yet. Honestly, it reminds me of Ninth House (book) and From, those are even more complex with timelines and structure. This one is similar in style, just more focused on the emotional side.
Why do people hate JJY honestly??? Did she steal your ancestral property or what? The hate is too forced. Wdym…
I'd agree about bad acting if it was a drama of her from before. But here, in VOS, she has improved so much that she really did convince me with her acting, especially in the part where we can see how much she has tried to save Ji Ling. You can see her desperation and at the same time, how she was tired from all of it but still has to try and save Ji Ling.
I need more of their stories! 😭😭😭 Damn you, GJM, you could have at least given us 40 episodes. Or even just five extra episodes showing them being happy in their current universe, wherever they are. It’s going to be so hard for any other drama to top this for me
There is one coming up https://cpop-universe.com/products/veil-of-shadows-2026-official-merch-collectors-interactive-art-photobook-set-%E6%9C%88%E9%B3%9E%E7%BB%AE%E7%BA%AA-original-chinese-novel-set?variant=45039408677040He…
I don't for the love of god understand kdrama logic. If someone is an illegitimate child why does the child get…
It mirrors real life so well because it’s pure deflection. The father finds it way easier to blame the child for just existing than to actually look in the mirror and blame himself. If he treats the kid like the problem, he doesn't have to own his own mess. It’s easier to project all that guilt onto someone with no power than to admit he’s the one who actually screwed up.
i didn’t see the happy ending you all talking about. i’m sorry guys, but that’s not a happy ending at all.…
But I actually think it’s a good kind of happy ending. Yeah, they lost their memories, but the story keeps showing that their souls remember each other no matter what. Even without those memories, they’re still drawn together. JL working at a flower shop (LWY's favorite are flowers), and LWY picking up raspberries (JL's favorite)
And the ending literally tells us that no matter what universe or timeline they’re in, they’ll always find each other again. So it’s not really a loss, it’s more like a reset where they get a chance to love each other again, without all the suffering and the shackles they were in
I don't understand why some of you find the ending to not be happy.... You need to look a little bit deeper. There…
It clearly is a happy ending even if they do not have their past memories. Their souls literally remembered each other. LWY picking up raspberries (JL's favorite), JL working in a flower shop (LWY's favorite are flowers).
It's also written at the end that no matter the universe they are in, they'll always be with each other
Ju Jingyi fans are terrible as she is. They are stanning a terrible actress like Ju Jingyi. I hope she got ban…
You should definitely call up the Chinese film board with your expert analysis. I’m sure they’ve just been waiting for a random internet comment from 'Jelly' to decide who gets banned. Your influence is honestly terrifying
WSG was strong in his own way, I don't agree with some people saying he wasn't.
True and his role is important too. Just because he doesn't become the all-powerful-being right after getting the dragon powers does not mean his character isn't important.
i mean how wu shiguang is weak as dragon deity and ji ling is so strong. the best look of ji ling for me was the…
Power is nothing if you do not know how to use it. WSG is still new, he barely had time to practice with his dragon powers. Whereas JL literally have a library about spells and whatever there is in the shilin sect
