Same, their character consistency is actually more important. Throwing away how their characters are/usually react in situations would make them OOC just for the sake of the romance/audience's expectation would be the failure of the drama if they actually went the way some people wanted.

Yup, and it seems like it is SCC who did be hesitant to accept his confession. I was just thinking of the scene of her telling TQ not to be mad when she kissed his cheeks. Or those recent comments from the 2 recent episodes of the parents thinking TQ was there for SQL and the neighbor describing SQL as the pretty one while SCC is the average one like wow. There are layers to it that needs to be explored first before SCC would even get into a relationship with him.

Tbh at this point, there is no point is engaging with the same users who keep on saying the same things about this. Because within 1-2 episodes, TQ is moving on and he is the one doing the chasing after further analysis of the situation so Idk what they can even be mad at that point. There is too much projection onto TQ as a character, he isn't someone who will seek "revenge" to hurt someone, but just for the truth. It is just a bunch of TQ "should" do this or TQ "should" do that. I saw those tweets saying how it is karma like this is some revenge/thriller drama and not romcom. 💀

I saw her review too. I liked how she mentioned the ship in this drama is not meant to be that "sexual" kind of physical attraction as this drama is literally talking about falling for each other's soul regardless of one's appearance. It makes sense why they are progressing so slowly and why people might even think they might not even have chemistry in the beginning. It is because they were not supposed to.

This really is one of the better executed dramas in terms of directing and producing because you really don't know where it goes, and the tone shift is so natural. It is one of those dramas where I did rewatch the episodes just to try to catch more details and their dialogues.

I feel like a lot of romance modern dramas focused so much on the visuals (because you really are just in it for the shipping) that they look like MVs aka really pretty but hello, where is my plot. Is this camera language supposed to mean anything other than oh these characters are pretty. This drama has more "weight" with the content so there is actually more to explore than just filming pretty people falling love (again, it is not a bad thing, but I want plot and character development please, convince me that I should be invested in these characters).

There are actually a couple of theories on why the bracelet upgrade at certain times, but people think these upgrades are not coincidences for sure. 👀

Yeah, SCC has quite a bit of baggage to tackle if they were to even start this relationship. He is literally her boss too. The bracelet is one thing but her witnessing him falling for her transformations, the color vision connection, their school days, etc. Those all need to be cleared up before she will truly open up to him.

Yes! The way GY thought he was a rational lover too but every time LY uwu eye at him, he loses his brain cells. 😂 And then TQ is just wow. The type who did even go with you to hell. 😂

Yup, they will especially closer to the latter half. The first part is more about their growth as individuals more than anything. Plus comedy, tons of it LOL.

Yup, that man loves her and is down bad for her already. Even the preview of him screaming, he was doing it to the fake!SCC, I don't think he even has the heart to do that to the actual SCC.

This drama messed up my sleep schedule. 😭 I am excited to see how it will go. This drama never goes the way people expected. I feel like some viewers going he will get his revenge, and he will be super mad and ignore SCC for a long time won't be getting their wish lol. He is literally willing to accept any wackiness as long as it is from someone he loves.

Got upset and within a day sorted out his own heart and started chasing after SCC (SCC probably thought he was trying to threaten her though). People were analyzing the clothes he was wearing in that "acting blind" scene and a later scene where he was saying "Running again? Where are you running to this time?".

They are slow burn for sure. TQ has developed feelings already. I think since he realized SCC wasn't lazy at work, he started being more open-minded about her as a person especially during their car ride. He told her "You are different from when you were in school". The FJ arc also made him realize that SCC is very hard-working and even though she is absent a lot, she still gets the work done. His "starting" point for her seems to be when he lost his vision and he actually had to interact with SCC in her own skin. He was becoming curious about her and when SCC came and saved him in the nick of time, he was probably already moved then (make-up scene) + his comment of her being beautiful. Then we have the cheek kiss which definitely increased his heartbeats.

I also think since their school days, he actually noticed her a lot (just that his impressions were bad) and even at work, he tends to notice when she is not at her desk and ask where she is. It is just veryyyy slow burn and subtle. I think their romance from his side has started a long time ago and this is all part of the process of them falling love. It is like he keeps on seeing fragments of her and chasing after those fragments.

SCC on the other hand liked TQ back when they were young because he is handsome and smart. The crush really didn't have a chance to develop and after the reunion, she shut it down. But like Li Landi said, SCC always had a seed of liking for TQ. Even though she shut it down, her awareness of him still leaks through. She says things like "I know TQ won't do that" (when TQ didn't help FJ's ex-husband) or "As expected of TQ" when TQ called on the phone to get someone to make sure the manhole was fixed. Her actions of getting him breakfast, driving him, wrapping him up in scarf, etc. can be mixed with guilt but at the same time, it is also because she cares for him. TQ is special to her and SCC won't be doing these same actions with say GY. Her affections just seem close to non-existent because she intentionally shut it off and because she doesn't want to allow it to grow but you see through her actions that she does care for him. But she is not likely to take the first step due a variety of reasons so it will have to be TQ taking that first step.

And TQ is the type that once he fell for you, he will walk 99 steps to match your 1 step. And once TQ knows all those actions/words he fell for is also SCC, he will be the one professing his love first.

This drama definitely can make some write an essay. 😂 Weibo has so many long essays about this drama.

Yes, it was the one she was in. He wasn't the main director, but he was involved in that series and shows like that need a lot of creativity, so I am sure that helped with his current dramas.

I just love the excitement of the reviewers talking about this drama too. Everyone has such deep thoughts about it

I think people tend to think SCC sees those transformations as herself so she /should/ have developed trust with TQ but that is not the case.

SCC separates herself from those transformations and sees TQ as loving them and not /her/, so she doesn't treat whatever happened between them during the transformations as TQ's feelings for /her/.

Her own interactions with TQ have been him saying "looks bad" to her, oh he is a visual stan, then figuring out he isn't, then trying to check in on him by buying him breakfast (which he rejected), by talking to him at work about work (which he didn't really even look at her in the beginning as he didn't want anything to do with /her/), him shading her about being lazy, her trying to give him a ride (which he was meh about but eventually accepted), him softening up and defended her against FJ's bum husband, him replying to her text about the flowers way later because he was busy texting "FJ" instead (and she clocked this), the umbrella scenes (which ended up with TQ having SCC holding the umbrella again), the dinner scene (which later SCC realized it was because TQ can see her in colors which then in her mind, would mean they only had interactions then because TQ needed her for his own purpose/not just hanging out because of friendliness), and then TQ officially requesting for her help because of his color vision issues.

Nothing that has happened so far with her in her own skin would indicate to her that they have anything more than a boss/employee relationship. He softened up to /her/ especially when we see his POV, but she doesn't really know that nor by how much.

Her revealing the secret about her bracelet always had a purpose.

LY -> First time and didn't know what to do, her bestie is the one person she knows who would get it and help her
SQL -> Blackmailed pretty much and to stop her from asking TQ about SM
FJ -> Transformation was her so had to explain it as her husband was being violent with her too

But TQ? In her POV, there is no "purpose". If say revealing the secret would heal TQ' eyes for good (but it is already healed) or TQ was bedridden and the only cure is secret reveal, I am sure SCC would do it. But at this moment, she doesn't even understand why TQ is so hell bend on trying to uncover this. Especially from her POV, she would think TQ would be even more devastated knowing those transformations he loved wasn't "real" and they were all actually her aka someone he doesn't like.

She already thinks he doesn't like her so from her POV, him knowing this would make her think he will dislike her even more. As much as SCC looks strong and is able to pick herself up, she also shut off her feelings for TQ to prevent herself from being hurt. But come on, how can she not be even a bit hurt when she sees the affection TQ gave to her transformations and then the next day see /her/ at work and doesn't want anything to do with her or is cold to her (in the beginning). She knows her place and it is also why she doesn't think TQ wants anything positive to do with her besides a working relationship.
