I really don't understand the low rating. can't even wrap my head around what's there not to like.
Review bombing from fans of the other dramas/other actors/actresses. People are rating episodes that haven't even release yet with low ratings. š Plus this drama doesn't spoon-feed moments. It is hard to define this as a typical idol romance drama because the leads are not head over heels for each other by episode 1. In addition, the characters are layered so I feel like their characterization flies over people's heads sometimes.
They just want the characters to date and don't care for their development as characters. Idol romance dramas are usually easy to consume, you have a pretty/kind girl and a hot/tall guy and they have feelings for each other. They hug, they kiss, and tons of fluttering moments. But this drama focuses more on introspection before getting into a relationship. Halfway through the drama and the main relationship is /just/ maybe starting as something concrete so it is not fit for an audience who just wants very obvious romance from the get-go.
ngl, this is The Best Thing airing right now quite literally :P
Haha, it is funny because C-side was like the 3 currently airing romance modern dramas should all swap their Chinese title names with each other. Though now they are making jokes that TQ is 儽å (easy to comfort).
Did TQ hire those actors? I thought they were from vandai, wanted to collect evidence of tang qi going blind for…
Yup, he is so smart and his brain works so quick. I guess he didn't expect that SCC was going to do so much to protect him too so that was an unexpected award from the situation.
SCC's confidence was crushed so bad regardless of how she shows that she's okay she still doesn't love her self…
I think she does love herself. It is more like she doesn't think /TQ/ can be in love with /her/. Her telling TQ not to be mad during the cheek kiss (not seeing that he was actually shy/moved by it), other people telling her TQ is probably in love with her and her going that's not possible, etc. The hardest she had ever cried so far (if I remember correctly) was that reunion scene and the rainbow farewell scene and both involved him.

You are right! I thought they were actors at first since GY sent the pictures to TQ and TQ just seemingly let them do their own thing (kind of using that opportunity to test SCC).
people wondering how anything was going to get solved soon including the revelation the dating and so on but I…
So well-done too. The way the transformations are now cleared up, but they still got some other miscommunications they have to clear up since they are still not quite on the same page. I can't wait!
Ok, so she apologized to him, in her all filter personalities. But then wen he said "it ends here" after forgiving…
LOL, she doesn't get that TQ is also hurt because it seems like she doesn't like him. She still at this point doesn't know that TQ actually likes /her/. She just thinks it is about the transformations. š And in her defense!! It took her a long time to get a job. ššš
I really loved what Gu Yu said. It could only be spoken by a man in love. But also I love how Gu Yu has handled…
Yes! With his relationship with LY too. LY doesn't believe in marriage, so he adapts to her because he just wants to be with her. Her liking and not yet loving him yet is also enough for him at this time. Their relationship was developed really nicely. Sometimes a relationship doesn't need to pressure to "go somewhere". It is just enough as it is sometimes. š
SCC transforming to all the major transformations and all of them apologizing including the alpaca. It felt like an actual and official farewell from those transformations to TQ.
It is the way GY and LY got them to see another POV real quick too. It really didn't have to be dramatic at all. I love this drama. It subverts all the tropes so well.

Edit: Actually more like TQ used that opportunity presented by someone else.
