1. Officially? It might be on Ep 26, when they kissed after crossing the river, but you can feel that they love each other way before that.
2. Breakup? Maybe Ep31 then there's some kind of sweet reunion in Ep 32 but their true reconciliation is on Ep36. And even throughout these episodes, you'll never doubt that they love each other.
3. Yes it's a happy ending but be prepared to want more.
Don't hesitate anymore in watching this because it's truly worth it.

I have nothing against YangZi, she's beautiful but I cringe imagining her act childlike and cutesy. I don't think anyone can play Orchid as perfectly as Esther did. Her happy pill personality and appearance just embodied Orchid. Deng Lun, even if he don't have that tax thing, has a good boy look which will not work as DFQC. Dylan has that arrogant look needed for the role. That he was able to act out the antihero DFQC was a nice bonus. Also both were really great during the body swaps. It was obvious that they studied each other.

Yeah the father was just gone, did he die on the night of Ronghao's escape or was he sentenced to death? Maybe we will never know. I think Jieli was accepted as the other daughter because by this time there's already peace between the moon tribe and fairies, the father's indiscretion was not a capital crime anymore. As for XY and CH's wedding, she said that some kind of power will be unlocked after their marriage. It was not explained if it was he or she who will gain the power. Maybe it was something like glazed fire because CH said that XY awakened the supreme divine power in her bloodline when she kissed DFQC. Maybe what's needed is a commitment kiss coz after that kiss there's no way she'll ever go back to CH.

From what I understood, only by getting some kind of life force from XLH's body can he revive Chidi.

When I think that it was really Orchid, that part of her that's inside DFQC, that was in DFQC's dream and she wasn't lying when she said she was real and not just his imagination, it made Ep 31 and 32 so much sweeter. It made what happened in the dream a part of their shared history. And now it tied up with the novel where DFQC and Orchid shared one body.

Did you notice that the bone orchid left was like the moon in the opening theme?

I think she was already attracted to Mars from their first meetup and enjoyed being with him because he prioritizes her. Maybe they dated and it was just not shown, he did say he confessed 23 times already when they met Yusheng. She still had unresolved feelings from her non-relationship but when she broke free from that, she was able to consider getting married to Mars. I also think their relationship was fast and may not be the Great Love we expect from dramas. I think I liked it because I just did not want her returning to Yusheng.

I think the scriptwriter Bai Jin Jin also deserves a shout-out for how great this series turned out to be. She maintained the essence of the novel's characters and gave us a very nicely knitted drama. The rest of the production team, the directors, the editors also did such a good job. I've seen dramas that were ruined because of bad editing.

Me! And then DFQC sprang on us Glazed Fire which is a far better Hellfire. YunZhong now has a totally different view about the Moon Tribe.

How? How were they ever to deliver the best xianxia ever with only 36 episodes? And to think it covered the 3 realms? The acting of Esther and Dylan deserves total RESPECT. I hope they make a special episode just showing their wedding maybe or just them having a day out, I'm ok with anything. I can't get enough of these two.

Because nobody in the fairy realm knew it was Ronghao, so everyone there assumed it was DFQC that did it.

Have not yet watched 31-32 so they are still together in my mind, but just watched the preview for 33 and 34 and my heart is already hurting. Since I don't want to be heartbroken for two nights, I think I'll wait for Monday to watch it all continuously.

It looks like the anime is following the novel.
