‘we want hana and mu-’ shut up you’re weird, acting as if the drama was ever meant to be romance in the…
this comment should be pinned to the top of the comment section!
season 1 didn't promise that so moon (a high school boy) will end up with ha na (a grown woman). for all we know, the producers could have come to the conclusion that so moon introducing ha na as his "girlfriend" when she asked him not to or fake "dating" an unwilling grown woman was a mistake. they erred on the side of caution in season 2 and that was for the best
it does have great potential. the storyline grew more mature and complex. for example, so moon's existence doesn't…
the "romance" was forced, and inappropriate? so moon was a high school student and ha na was a grown woman. even now, so moon would have been a busy college student
ha na was 2-3 years older than so moon. and so moon acted like a kid 99% of the time. the different maturity levels would have left the younger, less experienced school boy open to abuse
season 2 so moon didn't care that ha na was with someone else. the "romance" ran its course
"... she has to dress up as a boy in order to join a male idol group"
women invading men's spaces (or men invading women's spaces) is horrifying. women like this should be ashamed of themselves. they steal men's jobs, undermine the group's sense of authenticity and make it harder for talented men to find their place in the music industry. they are a drain on the agency's resources. it's a boy group! it's where men build and maintain healthy relationships with each other. no women allowed
hip-hop is about storytelling. the success of an artist depends on their willingness to shatter stereotypes and create a new style of self-expression. "let's pretend to be men" doesn't shatter stereotypes. it enforces them. we want to say, "women can do what men do." we don't want to say, "women who do what men do are men/less of a woman"
I’ve heard mixed reviews about this season, how is it? I watched ep 1 and feel it has great potential, but I…
it does have great potential. the storyline grew more mature and complex. for example, so moon's existence doesn't revolve around ha na (their moments in season 1 went overboard). he put himself first, seized his claws on whatever and worked hard to become a superpowered leader of the team. the other counters found a renewed hope in him
despite the colorful cavalcade of spirits that plot against the counters, there are several heartbreaking and compassionate moments between them and jeok bong, the new addition to the uncanny family. the counters deal with much more human problems, like securing their home, losing their firefighter friend, feeling as though they don't belong or healing their broken friendships
please watch it. as a bonus, you'd get:
1) badass so moon 2) badass gelly 3) badass pil kwang 4) funny, adorable jeok bong 5) adorable younger brother/older sister moments between so moon and ha na 6) intense moments between so moon and pil kwang 7) intense moments between ha na and gelly
there are literaly three zombje dramas, and Idk about happy ending in alocalypse drama...
why are you invalidating my/our wish for a "sad ending?" the world is indeed full of sadness, and in it there are only dark places. as much as i like happy endings, i don't run away from the darkness. an apocalyptic story is supposed to be all doom and gloom. you're looking for "happy endings" in the wrong genre
Getting all squeamish for a non graphic "sex" scene, but totally ok with very graphic violence, dismemberments…
what if someone is okay with gore and not "sex?" what's it to you? you ask people why they like pineapple or pizza, and not pineapple pizza? preferences don't work that way
"sex" is dirtier and more violent than dismemberment. it's the act of men defiling women or women defiling men. it "murders" a clean mind and body. no blood is shed, and the act is unforgiven
"Uncanny Counter 2 Counterpunch" is #6 on Netflix Global (Non-English)😄😄😄
that's great! how come people said season 2 isn't doing well? it's achieved remarkable success by ranking 6th on netflix's global top 10 non-english drama list! it's doing very well!
Yet again, people are just looking for a fight in MDL comment section. It's been too quiet here.Let's attack or…
i scrolled down and there were 2-3 commenters complaining about the "adult romance" and 10+ more complaining about the 2-3 comments. these people thrive on drama smh
translation: unrecyclable waste that society passes off as art
so long as handmaidens insist that actresses choose to rent out their bodies for their audiences' one-sided pleasure, the racism, colonialism, and misogyny forming the rotten foundation of "sex positivity" are ignored
why racism? women aren't objectified equally in the industry that privileges lighter-skinned women. why misogyny? "sex" is political. it's something that, although a private activity, the "hypersexual" regime manipulates into a public currency. women's reliance on "nudity and sexual content" as a means of generating income and fame places them in a subordinate position compared to their male counterparts who are granted a dominant position in the exchange
call me a prude. i'm disinclined to watch "nudity and sexual content"
i already watched season 1 and the episodes that came out
it was a one-sided "attraction"
ha na saw so moon as a little brother. she told so moon not to introduce her as his "girlfriend" and he went against her wishes. it was weird and cringe. there was and should be nothing between them. your fee fees are hurt that your weird "ship" sank?
i already watched season 1 and the episodes that came out
ha na and so moon or ha na and do hwi? none of them have chemistry
season 2 handled ha na and so moon with care. do hwi was added to send us the message that so moon got over his "crush" and lost interest in ha na. ha na and so moon's moments of solidarity have always made them 100% older sister/younger brother goals. season 2 didn't ruin their dynamic, and that's what i like about it
i disagree. moving is a blatant marvel/dc rip-off with similar power sets, lackluster acting and awkward scripts.…
that's because it’s difficult to replicate the experience of watching something for the first time. the thrill that accompanies the 1st season of a drama doesn't happen when the drama returns for season 2. people would compare season 2 with season 1 and find petty faults in season 2. they wouldn't be emotionally invested at the level a 2nd season requires. it happens all the time. it doesn't mean the 2nd season isn't worth watching

i stan jeok bong. he's a funny, adorable mochi
"i want so moon and ha na!"
"temporarily dropped it, i don’t want to waste time unless my [weird] ship sails!"
"jeok bong is annoying!"
they gave it bad ratings
