i read the webtoon, and in it, the counters survived. they summoned pil kwang and gelly. so moon and the yung territory became one. the territory coursed through his veins and he drove out the level 4 spirit from ju seok without summoning it or removing its host

there are a couple of things i'd have changed. for example, i wouldn't have let gelly erase so moon's memories. i wouldn't have let the other counters develop extra strength or telekinesis. so moon had to go into a temporary state of minimal consciousness to restore his memories. he relived the loss of his "parents" and woke up days later. he invested considerable time and effort (2+ years) into developing extra strength and telekinesis. all it took for the other counters to develop them was for them to think about semi-conscious so moon and semi-communicate with his subconscious mind/for so moon to cry and subconsciously think about them 😐 so moon earned his powers. the others didn't (i want so moon to be super special and super powerful, okay? sue me). the drama might be different

the drama has already strayed from the webtoon and made it better. webtoon jeok bong was a toxic aspiring singer who thought he's hot shit, webtoon counters and webtoon ju seok were strangers, webtoon ju seok had a daughter, and it wasn't an unborn child and webtoon wi gen was an ethnically german woman

hyun woo (hantae) and do yoon (baram) moments were surprisingly cute and convincing. i could read the signs of genuine attraction between them from the get-go. they've become one of my favorite couples

i fast-forwarded through yoo in (young mi) and ja keon (jeong pal) moments. i don't want to see anything "straight" in bls (or gls) 🙏

his energy is a ladder stretching from the human world to yung (wi gen called it a door in season 1, episode 15). it's an extension of the yung territory itself. the time so moon spent in the training room increased his strength to infinite levels. he could summon the territory, manipulate rocks and take down a level 4 spirit. 2 years passed, and he should be stronger in season 2. downgrading him would have been atrocious writing

he's not arrogant. he's a reliable person with a strong sense of responsibility. mo tak, ms. chu, mr. choi and ha na are his family. he doesn't want to lose them

the other counters aren't/don't feel useless. mo tak is freakishly athletic. he taught so moon how to fight. ms. chu has healing powers so moon doesn't have. she repaired so moon's damaged bones many times. mr. choi is freakishly rich. he provides for the others. so moon can read memories and sense spirits, but ha na is better at them

they called so moon the pillar that upholds their team. they wouldn't trade him for the world

uncanny counter should have broken into double-digit ratings

the 2nd season showcases the uncanny family in well-choreographed, stunningly crafted combats. so moon has gotten stronger and healthier. he has the power and fury of a raging storm! he's the best thing that ever happened to yung. the plot lines and dialogues are coherent. and the wise jokes crack me up
