Nice to read your essay as people don't seem to be writing them much here these days. I also have found watching…
Thanks for the compliment 🤗🦋✨
And yes, I have high hopes for travelling to Japan. It's sad that I need to know a certain amount of Japanese to go study there [not their fault, it's just that I find it super overwhelming] or else I would have grabbed the chance to experience their education system as well.
Haha, and maybe I am a local, so I travel with so much ease in India and have never encountered anything major or even minor in that sense, and since I have moved a lot within the country, I am attached to so many places and have my way of having a blast all the time.

My first dramas were korean and oh boy!, the cultural shock was rather intense: no physical contact whatsoever…
Hey 🤗
And, omg, hierarchy based on age—it's the most toxic thing ever; it makes me angry so much—you really raised a very good point. This thing is legit true and unfair most of the time, making me sick at how young people are expected to act even though the person they are dealing with is a total dumbhead.

As I mentioned in the "before we start" part, it's mostly about Japan, because recently I watched more Jdramas than any other thing. I wanted to add bullying and alcoholism, but then I had a few more sensitive issues [like shut-down cases in Japan, papa katsu], so I thought of someday writing part two if I learned the art of handling my words with care and respect, of which I am not confident as of now. This list is not as extensive, but all the comments are so insightful that, even though it would look like stealing, I would love to add many of the issues mentioned in my next article.

Yay, so the most ANTICIPATED article is out. Great work y'all ❤️(❁´◡`❁)

It's so easy to follow; I really loved how you arranged it. C-dramas are my slump cures, and I am really looking forward to what 2024 brings. So I am definitely watching "For Her." ~ Sounds Interesting fr.

+Please write one every year; this is so good—precise and clean.

Thank you so much for the time and energy you put into this article. I enjoyed it very much. Reading it made me…
Awwww [*I am not crying, I am not crying*] Thanks a lot. I proudly showed this to my parents, who were asking me why I had been so down since morning.

Alcohol was a big shock to me as well. Drinking it to prove you aren't disrespecting your seniors and stuff scared me.
Thanks a lot for reading.

To be honest, I didn't read your article further than the fragment about the Japanese "host culture". You wrote…
Hey,
Thanks for the insight, and I agree; actually, club culture is not my thing on the whole, but it exists. So, as I said, all the sources for my article were dramas. Here are a few dramas that literally show how hosts are helping people express their worries, which they can't otherwise. They allow them to dream and have an escape from reality.

↪ Saitama no Host (2023)
↪ Ouran High School Host Club (2011),
↪ and the other one with Nakajima Kento.

Now, after watching a few dramas, I know that it's all for money; even the maid cafes are for money, but think about it: they aren't hiding it; they state it: "Come and pay, and then only we will entertain you." I am not putting all the blame on women, but anyone going there should know. I don't consume alcohol, but many people of my age do, all while knowing how it can affect them.
+ There are hostess clubs - Basically a thriving culture producing so much employment.

I recently saw a movie called "Valvi," and it had this therapist who was constantly encouraging a woman by saying sweet things, and then she fell in love with him. I thought at that time---- it's a big manupulation game, and we give in that easily. Same with host clubs, ig.
Anyways, night culture as a whole is quite shady, and in this article, I just explained how host clubs work because it was very different for me, going to a club and drinking with preferred people. I also stated that the drinks we buy help them earn money.

I have also seen some documentaries, not on host but rental boyfriends; things get crazy sometimes. But I really appreciate you stating harsh facts here about it.

Stop being mean here, sir! I accepted my mistakes regarding this article, but as you can see, your comment was a bit rude, and people here are telling you just that.

Hahahaha 🤣🤣🤣🤣 - Their comment made me wonder what I did wrong. They explained, and I accepted it. Yes, writing can be more interesting. But their comment made me super sad this morning. I wish you were here because a suggestion can be made with good words, but they chose to tell me my bio was also a big NO. Thanks, windchime, for being here + your words are my favorite.

Hey!Thanks for sharing your honest opinions. Can you please tell me your thoughts a little bit elaborated? I am…
Oh, hey, thanks for writing it nicely. I really, really appreciate your detailed feedback. I mean, I didn't expect you to genuinely help me. This made me a little happy.
So I want to give you a little background processing I had while writing it:
I introduced myself because if I am writing about reading culture, then readers can actually analyse that, oh, with respect to India. Plus, I said I am a student because I talked about entrance exams, section division, etc. It's because I pay a lot of attention to the education system as a student. I added that template because, as you can see from my other work, I love to make my articles engaging. I always add little games.
Now I agree with your part that an article should be witty and hold power to engage readers, and mine is quite bland. Yes, I accept it. I don't know how many times I showed this to my close friends and even my mother to ask if it was bland, but no one told me honestly. Thanks for telling me this. It kind of cleared my doubt.
I was afraid that this issue is sensitive, and if I add too many jokes or if I am very blunt, it won't look good, but yes, I shouldn't be afraid of stating my opinions.
Thank you very much for this; I really mean it! Earlier today, I was very sad, like a potato, but now I am glowing like a tomato. I won't take your comment as if it were telling me to not write anymore; instead, I will try to be more authentic.
Please check out my next article with Enny; even though it's already done, I am a bit more free in that one hehehe.

Hey!
Thanks for sharing your honest opinions. Can you please tell me your thoughts a little bit elaborated? I am not getting offended or something; it's just that I enjoy writing and would really appreciate it if you gave me feedback.
Maybe my ignorance or lack of writing skills is showing off here. Even if it's harsh criticism, I would love to hear it. You can DM me too!
I will take this as a advice for future articles, or I will perhaps learn first and stay away from writing for awhile?

If education lies in calling others uneducated who don't hold the same opinion as you, then I would rather stay…
Yes, but then what's the difference between you and them? They are talking nonsense, and you are serving it back?
Well, I don't know this user, and I don't know about other shows he/she spread hate on, but calling people uneducated and saying that they only watch corny rom-coms kind of made me wonder if we have classes in this community as well, based on someone's taste or watchlist. Anyways, I know your intent was not to target everyone; rather, you expressed your annoyance to a certain someone, and that too, not directly. I am sorry if my remarks hurt.

Some uneducated people calling this overrated 💀😭😂 haha bruh just go and watch corny movies, easy to understand…
If education lies in calling others uneducated who don't hold the same opinion as you, then I would rather stay uneducated...
Japanese shows tend to have inclusive and beautiful comment sections, but these comments ruin the mood by screaming in the shade that my taste is superior to yours.
The movie was great, and I also showed my dissatisfaction about some aspects, but you can't stop anyone from watching it just because they won't like it as much as you did!

Although I never shied away from admitting that I do like pretty people lmao, 'a lot of the people' is bit of…
Bro, this is your custom list. You do what you like, and no one should come here and ask you to meet their standards.

A very controversial actress from India said something: People tend to think that if someone is ugly and makes it to mainstream cinema, they are good actors, and if some beautiful person makes it, it's because they are beautiful. i.e Only average-looking people can be talented. Even though she faced criticism for this, there is truth to it as to how people tend to process their thoughts.

Keep making your list bigger and bigger. I am awaiting all your comments. AND YES, CALL THEM PRETTY, COZ ALL OF THEM ARE!

This one might be the highest-rated Japanese movie here on MDL, but for me, it didn't satisfy me. Maybe artistic movies aren't for me because I need answers; I can't read the eyes and the skies.

I needed to see that pig-headed father rot in hell. I want those two kids to take responsibility for what they did to their teacher; aren't teachers humans too, for god sake? I wanted to hear that his fake girlfriend didn't love him; I wanted to watch all of that.

Well well but, I loved the mother; she was so clueless, but she kept trying and smiling.
I CRIED, YES.
I found the boys adorable, YES.
But am I satisfied? NO.

hemlo dear - I'll be rude cuz that's what I do - this article is not relatable and I am not going to watch any…
You can also fill out the template if you have time... 🥺✨
Now, thanks for reading, but that's very rude! I do not appreciate this.
I worked hard for this, even though it's not an extensive list as of now, I am banning you from Mera Jewan and articles.
