Aww, it was cute 😭 I laughed way too much, and this is actually the first Thai drama I fully completed [Fast forwarded a few scenes in last 2 eps tho]. My usual problem with Thai dramas is the language; it feels a bit high-pitched for me, and the tone is often unclear. Even serious scenes suddenly turn into goofy comedy, like please😭... Either be fully stupid or be serious, pick a lane.
I had the same issue with Me and Thee. They showed the family as super toxic and then fixed everything in like five seconds. Like what?? 😭 Zero angst. But honestly, that also fits its comedic nature, so I let it slide.
Loved Thee’s character though... he was so extra and so pleasant to watch. Truly a delight. Aaaah, I’m already missing them 🥹💔

Aaaahhhh! The first proper J-drama I’ve completed in a while. It was funny, sarcastic, and full of good feels...but honestly, it felt like just scratching the surface of the celebrity world. Nothing was super detailed; everything seemed a bit too easy. Also ending was so melodramatic lmao
BUT I STILL LOVED IT. Like, very much. Everyone acted phenomenally>> especially the FL. She was an absolute powerhouse.
And Yamada-chan… he’s so cute. So cute. SO cute. Aah, my heart 😭
Santa was also sooo good. Total green-flag character. I was genuinely rooting for him. But well… Yamada is the star, so of course he was going to win.

I tried two other J-movies last year, and they bored me to DEATH, but I somehow survived this one till the end, so fine… decent score.
