Ok, I have seen this story before, but this time it really made no sense. So I will narrate it so you don't have to waste your time over this- So, there's this FL who's been obsessively stalking the ML since elementary school, but we never get a clue why she's so into him. The ML, a super basic baker with no standout personality, doesn’t seem like someone worth stalking.
One day, the FL sees the ML getting hit by a car and rushes him to the hospital. The ML loses his memory, and the FL takes this as her chance to lie and say she's his girlfriend. This twisted lie goes on for four episodes, showing just how creepy she is—like, she literally bags the air from his home because she thinks it's sacred.
Then she hunts down the guy who hit the ML, who’s a gangster but bizarrely can't stand up to her. Meanwhile, her coworkers find out about her stalkerish behavior but still hang out with her like it's totally normal.
The ML eventually figures out she's the stalker and initially thinks she caused the accident. But then he regains his memory, flips the script, starts stalking her, and out of nowhere, professes his love. And just like that, they have a happy ending.
Look, there could be many outcomes, they picked one and I didn't like it.
Although I liked CX, I forgot how snake shaped FL. Jing was nothing but devoted, a husband every girl should get - Toxicity, power, and dominance is fanfic kinda stuff and should shine there only. But this drama was my top-tier fanfic Roman Empire. The scene where the FL was spitting blood in CX's arms? Yeah, that’s where it should have ended. It was peak drama, and everything after just felt unnecessary. I hate it but I like it a lil becauseeeeeeeeeee idk
For heart-wrenching angst, I'll give it a 5+, but everything else was such a mess.
It was like they were trying to fit every single trope into one story, and it just didn’t work. So yeah, it’s going to take a while to recover from this one.
