Sooooo Freaking UNDERDEVELOPED as if they ran out of money to shoot the remaining and more imp scenes!!! Fr, wtf was that??? I can list 10+ items they missed as a viewer and they couldn't even think of 2-3 as the makers? Soo disappointed
This article is simply breathtaking! The design is clean and elegant, and the posters are beautiful. I find the concept interesting, especially how many myths across Asia are similar in different forms, often without us realizing it. Whenever I see these myths in dramas, I think, "Hey, we have that here too!" It makes me wonder about the strong stories behind them that have lasted even today.
I’m so happy to see the mention of Garuda and the Nagas. I read about them years ago, and it was refreshing to find them included here as well.
The portrayal was spot on, 10/10, but there were aspects of the story I really disliked. Some might argue that it depicted real, flawed human behavior, but I disagree. A real male lead would have shown more negative emotion—gotten angry, thrown tantrums—and the whole idea of having to choose between his daughter and girlfriend? Umm, no thanks, Imagine breaking up, moving on and now you have to take charge of your exes mistakes? I am glad he did because his whole relationship with Umi was beautiful but still it left me with a wtf taste ....
The thing is, if the ML had left Mizuki on his own or was reluctant to have a baby that young, I would have understood everyone treating him like he was at fault and having to leave behind his new love life to care for Umi. But that was not the case at all. He was kept in the dark, cut off, and suddenly he’s the one making sacrifices. I mean, Mizuki wanted the best for Umi, and given that the ML was the most green flag ever, she decided he was the best choice, especially with the blood relation. If she hadn’t been dying, I think she would have never let him know about Umi, which again would have been a bit selfish. But because he was a green flag, everyone blamed him so often. Imagine being like ML's father, who doesn’t care at all—now say something, now act dramatic. It was ML who was bearing it all.
Losing a mother is a huge thing. Umi was brave, but she was also written too mature for her age, saying things a kid usually wouldn’t. I feel for ML; he has to sacrifice so much. Even though taking care of his daughter was the best decision, I would have loved to see him explore his own happiness as well.
Started off strong, yk those anime characters who know they are strong af and hot af, yes that, that's ml, but as it shifted to student issues, it was very similar to those what we have seen in numerous dramas, also a girl turned bully because she found out that her mom wasn't perfect, tf??? She litreally tried to live stream a girl while stripping her all because she can't handle the trauma of her mommy issues.... I think ml's character gave this drama an aura or else it's very average. Editing was cool tho ~

It's fine for an one-time watch, but its cringey af!!! Watching it with a friend made it more bearable [we were laughing non-stop], but there's this awkward focus on the female lead sexualizing her crush’s personal items. On top of that, there's no character development. You never really understand why the male lead falls for her. Both characters just act like they have deep traumas and pretend no one else could possibly understand them.
First off, that CGI background for the restaurant—seriously?? They couldn’t even give us an actual restaurant ? I get the budget was low, but it made everything look hella cheap.
Second, where was the backstory? Like, there was NOTHING. The overbearing parents plot? Wasted. ML being CEO? Wasted. Where was that CEO energy? Dude didn’t even look rich, like, what happened to that billionaire vibe? He literally came back home in an ambulance-looking taxi. Buy a car, sir; you own an IT firm. If the CEO of an IT firm looks like this, I don't know why my fellow engineers are working hard.
And bro, the 2nd ML? He’s straight up acting like one of those 2010 Facebook guys who gets mad at you for not eating on time after one conversation. It's like, dude, calm down.
But seriously, why is our talented ML stuck in these cringey romance plots? He needs better scripts ASAP.

I need time to adjust, and I often find myself feeling awkward and shy. My mother once asked me why I don't carry that same attitude with me when I'm with new friends—why I dim myself. But it’s not something I can control.
I see so much of myself in the female lead. She’s the most energetic person in the room, quick with a curse, and never hesitates to speak her mind. But in that one scene, when she realized she was surrounded by strangers with no allies, she trembled. Her fierce, homegrown personality should have been enough to put everyone in their place, but instead, she said nothing. That moment hit so hard because it’s exactly how I feel sometimes.
