Everyone is talking about the princess but actually I start to be annoying by the cold heart of the FL... I know, I know, she needs to protect her family but she could be at least honest with the ML, it's boring the high nomber of times she rejects him coldly. I start to want he drops her and finds a girl who will fight for their love, not just giving up or being cold heart. The few chinese historical dramas I have seen, it's always the girl who is cold and the ML running after her. At the beginning it's cool, but after 25 episodes it's really boring.
I like the story of all these women, I love the colors, flowers, clothes or jewelry. Aesthetic is amazing. BUT What a shitty life has a woman in ancient China.. Worth less than a flower pot :(
WOW I think it's the first drama I watched that do not promote having kids (and seeing childfree characters as "normal") or that marriage is the only way to live. I like the 3 female actresses, specially the 2 oldest. They are free, independant, and I love that. Even the evil mom obsessed with her daughter being an old uterus and the urge to get married finally came back to reason. Nice show :)
I really hate korean citizens for their ridiculous tendancy to criticize and destroy people lives. As if they were themselves perfect. I am pretty sure he wasn't aware of what this show was about.... He saw a funny pictures. And wanted to share for fun. End of story. Actors and idols don't have to be perfect. They are humans, and humans are not perfect, as we all are :) We must do not forget that before judging..

Really like this drama ! Specially Ethan Juan I discovered recently ^^ But the gap between the 2 main lead is too obvious. He is 16 yeras older than her in real life and in the drama, she could almost be her daughter... she looks and acts very young. So.. it's difficult for me to project. (like in Goblin for example...) Still, I will watch it, Ethan Juan's mojo ahahahaha

Why one of them had a son (FL 's father) and a grand daughter (FL) of 36 yo now and the other has a son of 36 too. Like what ? he waited more than 20 years, alone, single, and finally around the age of 40/45 decided to have a kid (ML). I mean, maths are not good or I missed something.....
EDUCATE YOURSELF please, and deconstruct yourself first. A woman does not have to be well dressed to be a real woman, to be a beautiful woman or to be feminine... And above all, there is not just one way to dress at 20, 40 or 60 years old... The patriarchy has yet a long life ahead... sadly.
