Y’all I had tears when I saw the first 2 episodes are subbed and watching the first episode cause I haven’t watched a new drama of him for so long, been a fan of this guy for a long time and I’ve seen almost all his dramas he’s a fabulous actor I love the way he talks always has this cute pout Coming to the storyline I loved this, shota’s character of kenji is so cute and the way his character deals with a client in ep 1 was so sweet I don’t like the way sangenya/Keiko’s character talks it gets annoying but overall must watch So happy the rating increased!
guys give it a try those that are complaining abt the bad acting? Seriously these guys aren’t senior actors that one can expect them to act fab but they’re decent in terms of the character given to them KIM KWAN SOO IS WHAT MAKES THIS DRAMA WORTH WATCHING, him as Song Taemin- first off he’s handsome, his cute cute smile and his firm voice and the most beautiful thing abt him is how realistic some of his main dialogues are like “stop chasing the one that doesn’t love you and go to the one who does” his character is just so beautiful I also love japi’s character very emotional
WHAT A GREAT DRAMA! Ok so the main actress pissed me off cause I notice how most roles she does are so evil but damn Shota Matsuda really showed his best acting in this drama , especially the crying scene in the end just wow The story was also good I really recommend this one!
Shota and miura haruma will always be my top two fav Japanese actors they are so underrated! Tired of seeing the hype for suda and mackenyu and kento when these two actors exist They have such unique ways of acting I love how shota has that pouty face he sometimes makes And what’s the deal with almost no one talking abt him in hana yori dango? I loved domyouji but I shipped shoujiro and yuki billion times more than the main couple, shota’s long hair, his dark skin, the cool attitude I fell in love plus he’s hilarious in don quixote His acting in regatta is so damn beautiful must watch and how he plays the cool detective in tantei tokage Seen almost all his stuff he’s indeed a brilliant artist
Brilliant, phenomenal, king of natural expressions, leaves me speechless I LOVE THIS GUY ; other than temperature of love almost all his dramas are so damn good! his acting is so natural he literally blends into each character he plays whether its Mo tae gu from voice or Gyeon from Pygmalion's love or sun woo from Antique - each portrayal is beautiful and natural
One of the most boring dramas I have watched oh damn literally all I did was forward every episode waiting for something to happen! Nothing nada was happening just politics of rich corrupted people and the main actress was fixing their shit and then you have yoo ah in who was acting so abnormal with his weird fidgety expressions ( still need to watch his other shows so I’m not saying he’s a bad actor) And the husband?? Knowing what his wife did he still let her continue and is so nice to sung jae , the husband seriously had no self respect This drama is for those who love classical piano and that’s it Unless you wanna spend your time watching spoiled rich people drinking wine and listening to piano for most of time for 16 ep straight
After watching bogum in Hello monster, reply 1988 and Naeil’s cantabile I know he is capable of picking more versatile and complex roles so hopefully after this one , we see him in a great drama
Was really excited cause I was going to see bogum in a drama after some time and this is a disappointment I still love bogum he’s a fab actor and will always be but it seems he wanted to do the cliched noona romance role to appeal to the audience , I know he can do much much better his range of versatile expressions we have all seen and this role of a cheesy too nice guy is like when bogum acts in advertisements we see it’s just that this role doesn’t suit him, it’s too plain I read an article that talks abt symbolism in encounter and with all respect to it, one needs a fast paced interesting story . There’s already been many noona romance stories and Encounter adds to it I am interested in the ex husband role tho cause the guy that plays him is a good actor Plus keeping in mind the real life park bogum and song hye ko , their relationship in real life is of dignity and respect, I mean if he played her younger brother it would’ve been perfectly fine but a couple ?
Watch sky castle much much much better it’s fast paced , great acting, dark plot

Just wanna say one thing - park bogum is one of those rare actors who has so many versatile expressions and portrays them so beautifully so gracefully that he becomes that character he’s playing For me kjw and park bogum are those two actors that can play versatile roles with multiple expressions Almost every drama other than love in the moonlight bogum has played a brilliant character I mean his expressions in Hello monster still haunt me
Just finished watching this drama and although as I commented before the cinematography is beautiful and the funny moments between the three leading men , I’m so upset with the ending episodes. So we have ae shin who’s all like “ hey let’s save the Joseon people and make korea independent but uhh where’s she when her own people need help? All the lead characters die and where ‘s ae shin ? Totally somewhere else when we should be seeing her save her own significant individuals- dong Mae, hui seong and Eugene all die loving her and remembering her while they die but all we see is one scene of her saving hui seong and that’s it. Poor dong Mae and hui seong got so much shit for loving ae shin , she gives them so much attitude especially to dong Mae and he still loves her like crazy
And only one person was there for Hina kudo - dong Mae. No reaction from Eugene or ae shin after knowing she has died ? Like are you serious? There were times when Hina saved Eugene and ae shin from those Japanese soldiers Uggh I hate stories where you have multiple guys/girls loving the lead and sacrificing themselves for the lead and the lead is all happy no concern Great acting from all but just so disappointed how you have all these characters dying and you have the female lead in the end “let’s make joseon independent”
Would’ve loved to see dong Mae just marry Hina in the end and hui seong happy with another girl cause ae shin’s character honestly just cared abt Eugene

Ahh I don’t like lee hana at all she’s so stiff and monotonous when she delivers her dialogues but yea I guess anyone else in voice I would’ve shipped with kjw I wish there was a romantic interest with that bar owner it would’ve been awesome!
