I'm sorry to say that but i'm laughing so hard XD Bar's lips didn't even touch Gun's cheeks wth is this
The "kiss" in ep 3 is a Thai-style kiss. Sometimes it's just a touch of nose on the cheek, but more likely it's a "sniff-kiss", where they lightly touch their nose on the other's cheek and, well, literally take a sniff, simply explained lol. It's a cultural thing.
The drama itself is a mess. It's ok for brainless entertainment though. :D And, well, Mew's scenes especially in the beginning are definitely hot. I made it through this just by staring at him and pretty much ignoring all else.
As a self-proclaimed doctor, in order to alleviate the effects of the TT fever, you must watch the series like…
Hahaha like a week ago, I actually found an old Twitter account of mine from 2011 and started using it again... just for MewGulf stuff, so you're not wrong. :'D
Also, 6 days later, my viewcount is at 13 and a half.
And when I have work again (gee, thanks corona) I'll certainly buy the box set and books if they're actually translated.
Frustrating because of all the plotholes, but overall, not the worst drama ever. That is, if you're like me and are able to ignore a lot of stupid things just because you want to finish a show. :D
Not rewatchable, but fine to watch once. They also tried very hard to make it easy to sympathize with the villain, common trope I guess, but very obvious. It helps that the actor is very good.
Actors were good. Cinematography was nice, music not very memorable. Also, not sure why the female lead apparently gets a lot of hate for her acting, seemed quite natural.
I did not dislike the drama. But I will certainly not remember it a few weeks from now.

Yeah, it seems that it's up to the individual. I for one am able to identify with characters that are nowhere near what I am, able to relate to all characters no matter their sex, age, social situation. etc.
Well, asexual people can still be fans of romantic movies/series, this I know. It's just a human watching the romantic story of other humans, why would it matter what the sexual orientation is.
I've watched two of the old versions and I love this story, I will see how this adaptation turns out. I'm also interested to see if P'Tik's acting has changed, I haven't watched a lakorn from him in years. Neither of the leads wouldn't be my first ideas for these roles, (I like them, no complaints, just different style in my mind) but they might be fine, and even if it's not perfect, I still love that there's this new version for me to watch. :)

I was very surprised that the ending was happy. At some point was pretty sure the writers would just kill them all off. :D

(+ The Youtube clips about 10,000 times but that doesn't count. xD)
I have a problem.
I've watched this series 9 times.
I can't stop.
Send help.
