I truly believe that tomorrow's episode isn't going to be as sad as everyone thinks or as it's shown in the preview. In the bts for EP 12 there's a bit where they're filming on the cliff and both Im Sol and Seon Jae are there, hand in hand - different from what Im Sol saw in EP 12.
Im Sol most likely altered the outcome of the incident again.
Also Seon Jae made it pretty clear that he was going to come her no matter what. That's a choice he made. A choice he will ALWAYS make - in all timelines!
It also looks like that EP 13 might be the last EP where Im Sol is in the past. EP 14-16 are definitely going to be in 2024.
Also! I don't know if anyone else has noticed, but the show hasn't ever kept SolJae apart for more than half an episode. I doubt they'll keep them apart any longer than that this time as well.
1. The scene where the serial killer is walking and the scene goes from black and white to colour, the building in the back is the abandoned building where Sol was supposed to have ended up initially in the 2009 incident. Its close to her house.
2. Sol also saw memories where an incident happens on the 7th of May around 12:30am in Danpo-ri. But she hasn't actually seen the full picture yet. There's a chance that she's misinterpreting what's actually going to happen. There's a scene in the recap for EP 13 where Im Sol opens her eyes as if she saw another memory.
3. We see a scene in the precap for EP 13 where Sol is running in the forest - she has her purse with her then, but they cut to a scene where Sol is on the cliff now - without her purse. When she's wearing her purse, it didn't look like she was running away from the serial killer, it looked like she was running towards the cliff on purpose.
SO I think what we're seeing in the recap is a mix of the memories that Im Sol saw and a mix of what's going to happen on the cliff.
If something really bad did end up happening on 7th May, then Tae Sung's dad wouldn't have been there on 10th May waiting for the serial killer by the abandoned building.
4. We also see 2 different scene of 2 separate incidents. There's the cliff incident (May 7th around 12:20am ) and the incident with the abandoned building (May 10th around 1 am). A full 3 days between the two incidents.
The scene where the serial killer grabs Im Sol is by the abandoned building - near Sol's house. Sol isn't wearing her purse here either. She's wearing it when she calls the detective though. Sol also has and looked liked she was talking on the phone when the serial killer grabs her and drags her away.
Yeah I was so sad when it ended. Fell into a bit of a Kdrama slump after AoS.
While AoS did generate a lot of buzz, the thing with it is that it aired while Extraordinary Attorney Woo Young Woo was airing. And EAWYW generated more buzz and online presence than AoS.
The amount of attention that LR is getting is a whole other level. Even celebs are talking about it or mentioning it. And its toping a lot of the charts.
I watched AoS while it was airing. One of my all time favorite kdramas! While everyone loved their chemistry I don't think the craze around them was like this.
okay so when Sol was in high-school the stalker was caught by the police, right? Then when Im Sol was an adult…
When Sol is in 2024, she finds out that the stalker was caught in 2009 in May. That event/incident hasn't happened yet so he's still roaming free at the moment.
That he'd always choose to save her, even if it cost him his life. And that he'll run diligently towards 2023... to his Sol A
We'll be waiting diligently Seon Jae Aaaaaa
