I think it was shown that Jin Mu just let's them feed on a human's body to prevent those that are incompatible with the body they shifted into.

As for Gil Ju, an injury can cause a shifted soul to petrify. That why he wanted to go to the Palace for the ice stone so that it can unpetrify him.

The Queen's eunuch knows that the ice stone can keep you from petrifying. But as we saw in the last episode, the "Queen" doesn't allow that. So the eunuch just feed off human energies.

As for My Deok/Naksu not petrifying, well it looks like But Yeon and the ice stone are protecting her. Otherwise she would have petrified when they punished her for poisoning Jang Uk in Episodes 2-3.

I'm seeing a lot of people on Twitter and Tumblr complaining that there should have been a kiss at the end of episode 12. And I'm like how? If someone is scared and terrified, how is a kiss the answer? You need to be comforted at a time like that. And a hug does just that! Also! That would be so out of character for the two! Jang Uk would definitely want that to be a special moment and Mu Deok/Naksu is still trying to come to terms with her feelings...it wouldn't make sense to have a kiss between them just yet.

Yeah overall it's safe to say he was a horrible person. I'm not even sure if he can redeem himself at this point.

Jin Mu and the "Queen" got scared at the mention of Jang Kang and that he might return. So Jang Kang is definitely not locked up somewhere. We know that the "Queen" has the ice stone. It could be highly likely that he's unaware about this is looking for it....OR he's letting a prophecy play out!

I don't think Jang Uk understood the light stuff. He has never seen a wild soul shifter suck someone's energy so he wouldn't know the difference between the two.

I think it'd be safe to refer to Shaman Choi as a separate character seeing as how the real queens soul is in Shaman Choi's body. Both souls and both bodies are alive.

I don't think it was Bu Yeon that got Jang Uk out of the barrier, it was all him. He was just saying master give me strength/confidence figuratively not literally. We know by now that Jang Uk is good when it comes to illusions and not being pursued by what he sees. Like what happened with the mirror of longing. So he broke out of that barrier on his own, it wasn't Bu Yeon's doing.

Master Lee said Cho family not Choi family. So it's unlikely that Naksu is related to the "Queen".

Same but only Mu Deok/Naksu knew about Jin Mu's soul shifting truth before they went there. Naksu as we know is pretty ballsy when it comes to things like this. She's not at all afraid to go head to head with a threat. Jang Uk on the other hand just wanted to go with Mu Deok/Naksu so that she gets to see the constellation room and remeber her father. If Jang Uk knew about Jin Mu's truth before then he wouldn't have let Mu Deok set a foot there.
