We see in episode 1 that Naksu pushes Mu Deok when looking for a person to soul shift with. Could Mu Deok have…
Naksu doesn't have the ice stone though, she had a soul ejector. The original Mu Deok had the ice stone. Another thing is that people are automatically assuming that the original Mu Deok was weak because Naksu is weak in her body. We don't actually know if she was weak or not. She has the ice stone after all, she couldn't have been weak.
There's also another things that hasn't been discussed yet. What happens when you're soul shifting and one person…
The real queen is inside Shaman Choi's body. Which is what the royal servant is referring to when he says if he should pay the real queen a visit. There's is only one soul inside of the queen's body and that is Shaman Choi's soul.
So, guys, your predictions for the next episodes?-Judging by the preview I'm thinking Naksu will be exposed finally,…
I think the preview is a bit misleading. I doubt that they will reveal anything about Naksu so soon to Park Jin. My best guess is that the fact that Mu Deok cheated during the servant competition will be exposed and she will be thrown out of Songrim. Another separation for our leads perhaps? I think this will ultimately lead to mU Deok asking for Cp's hepl and CP telling Mu Deok to bet on herself - If Jang Uk wins the last fight - she stays - if he looses - she's out!
wait so when mudeok was telling uk to stay away from her cos she was scared he’d die that’s when he realised…
Jang Uk already know that Mu Deok loves him (Re: the love letter scene from episodes 10 and 11). He already "read" her feelings - it's like he said - just because you don't see them, doesn't mean that they don't exit, it's just that they're hidden. Jang Uk hugging her in the last scene of episode has more to do with him comforting her because she was really scared and she truly believed that she'd gone wild. It was more so about him letting her know that he isn't afraid that she'll hurt him and that he'll always be there for her. It also him bring her out of her initial shock and making her realize that she hasn't gone wild and that she's okay.
I want to take a moment to praise the actors...Jung So Min and Lee Jae Wook are nailing their roles. Theyre just…
Definitely! All of the actors are doing justice to their characters and the show! I liked Lee Jae Wook in Extraordinary You and that's why I started AoS and I'm so glad that I did! Lee Jae Wook stole my heart was Jang Uk! There no one better for that role than him! Same thing goes for Jung So Min. She's been a treat to see. Seeing her go from Naksu the merciless assassin to Mu Deok the Master/servant brilliant.
We see in episode 1 that Naksu pushes Mu Deok when looking for a person to soul shift with. Could Mu Deok have…
See but the thing is that Naksu wanted to soul shift with someone else entirely. It makes me wonder if somehow Mu Deok was able to hijack the alchemy of souls. Alchemy of souls doesn't chose the person, who ever performs alchemy of souls chooses the person. If it's not the person that Naksu chose to soul shift with. It means that Mu Deok chose Naksu. My point here is that we don't exactly know who performed the alchemy of souls. Just because Naksu started it doesn't mean she's the one that performed it to it's entirety. The scene is cut off as soon as it starts and then we get a brief flashback with a very confused Naksu when she see Mu Deok.
What if Mu Deok can't go wild because the ice stone (or it's powers) are inside her? What if what she did at the…
But the writer have been very particular about what and when they reveal something about the ice stone. We're given new information about it every few episodes, meaning that we don't actually know about the full potential of the ice stone. And it's very likely that the mages in the show don't know what it's full potential is either. The first episode only revealed that the ice stone was created by the leader of the Jin family while performing a spell to stop the drought. And the the ice stone could be used to soul shift and the powder it leaves behind can be used to make soul ejectors. It wasn't until few episodes later that we learn that the ice stone can be used to bring someone back to life. And it was only revealed recently that it can stop soul shifters from turning wild and being petrified.
There's also another things that hasn't been discussed yet. What happens when you're soul shifting and one person dies during or right before the process is complete? Since there are two souls and only one body now, does soul shifting not happen and do both of the souls end up in the same body? We also know that soul shifting can be stopped, if the opponent is strong enough. In case of Jang Uk, we see the original Mu Deok within the soul shifting dimension. Maybe it's her ability to sense energies that others can't or the ice stone(or it's powers) that allowed her to do that. Whatever the reason is, we know that the original Mu Deok is strong enough to stop alchemy of souls! That begs the question, if Naksu was the one performing alchemy of souls, why didn't the original Mu Deok stop it then?
So many questions! No wonder the show needs 30 episodes to conclude!
We see in episode 1 that Naksu pushes Mu Deok when looking for a person to soul shift with. Could Mu Deok have sensed some sort of energy about Naksu? We see Naksu performing Alchemy of Souls in episode 1 but we're not shown what Mu Deok is doing in parallel. If Mu Deok does indeed have the ice stone (or it's energy) inside of her, she doesn't need a soul ejector to start Alchemy of Soul, she may be able to perform that without any aid. We're assuming that Naksu was the one that performed Alchemy of Souls because that's what we saw (or lack of! We don't actually get to see the full scene in sequence! It's cut off and then we're given a flashback of what Naksu believes happened!) . But what if in fact, it was Mu Deok performing it. That would explain why Naksu didn't shift souls with the girl she originally chose, and why Mu Deok was there.
This also begs the question, if Bu Yeon was brought back to life after she died in the mother's womb using the ice stone, has that made her soul immortal as long as she has ice stone (or it's powers) inside of her?
What if Mu Deok can't go wild because the ice stone (or it's powers) are inside her? What if what she did at the end of episode 12 was just her petrifying/cleansing the soul that was running wild? We know that the ice stone can do a lot of things now. Soul shifting, bringing back the dead, and now we know that the ice stone can save someone that has turned wild!
I feel so proud of myself for introducing AoS to my two best friends, they're obsessed as expected 💅
I wish my friends watched AoS (or any Kdrama for that matter). It would have been fun to obsess over it with them, but they're busy with work. BUT I have all of you Alchemists so that's great!
OMG Alchemists! I just finished watching the episode and wow what a treat!
Also the hug Jang Uk gave to Mu Deok when he found out about her childhood was so cute! 🥺 Him comforting her and then teasing her about the jade stone was funny. The last 10-15 mins had me at the edge of my seat! Mu Deok feeling scared that she's going wild and might hurt Jang Uk and Jang Uk not caring the least bit about himself and hugging her was so sweet to see. 🥺😭
I'm curious to know about what happened at the end with Mu Deok triggering the constellation machine. Can't wait for next week!🔮🗡️🔮🗡️

I was totally right about someone else's soul being inside the Queen. Songrim definitely knows about Jin Mu and the soul shifting, and Jang Uk and Mu Deok saw it with their own eyes! Park Jin needs to stop hiding things from Jang Uk now! He is putting Jang Uk in even more danger by keeping him in the dark!
