Guys! Keep in mind that when we see someone die, we don't actually know who died unless it's been confirmed that the rightful soul was inside that body! *hint hint* *Naksu's father*. Same goes for some of the side characters that are alive. *hint hint* *the Queen, Jin family father...*
Uk is hurt and going beyond his way to do what she wants, coz he has no choice after all she's his egg which needs…
I don't mind it actually because right now everyone thinks she's just Mu Deok, a servant. I want to see their shift in behavior when they find out she's actually Naksu, a wicked assassin!
I think Naksu is actually doing manipulation on Yul and CP. It's true she is smart and strong FL. But things are…
Honestly, I like that she's manipulative and cunning and not just a doormat like other FLs in other Kdramas. She tells people what they want to hear if it gets her what she wants. She's powerless at the moment and can't use her sword so she's using her words.
โAll I did was sincerely tell you that I missed you, you wicked assassin.โ โค๏ธ๐๐ญ๐๐๐๐ญ๐โค๏ธ
I love how he's letting her know how much she hurt him instead of keeping it all inside. That's one of my favorite things about Jang Uk, he isn't afraid of his feelings or sharing them!
Aww. I have mixed feelings about it too. I really like Seo Yul though and worried they're going to give him a…
He is well aware that both Mu Deok/Naksu and Jang Uk have feelings for each other. If he wants to pursue Mu Deok/Naksu he needs to do it openly and not behind Jang Uk's back. Jang Uk knows about Mu Deok/Naksu's crush - or whatever feelings they maybe - towards Yul but he doesn't know that Yul is actually harbouring legitimate feelings towards Mu Deok/Naksu. I just don't like how he's doing it behind his best friends back. Also, he loves the Naksu he met years ago. Like he's made zero efforts to find out who and how she is as a person now. He's only pinning for her because they never had a proper closer back then. I hope he moves on and find someone that loves him back instead of trying to jump on a ship that has already set sail.
I'm worried for Seo Yul. I really want a happy ending for him. Please K-drama Gods give Seo Yul a happy ending!…
The thing with Yul is that he's in love with the Naksu he met as a child. That was YEARS AGO! She's a completely different person now, even more so after she met Jang Uk. Yul has yet to connect with who Naksu is now. He's too hung up on the past. He either needs to move on or make an effort to get to know Naksu now, in the present. At the end of the show I see him as a leader with no one by his side. Which I don't think is necessarily as bad things. I think he'd make a great leader and that he'll just need some time for his heart to heal.
People complaining about how the last couple episodes have been fillers are missing the point of these episodes entirely. All of these small chain of events are paving way and leading up to the great battle that will eventually conclude the season. They can't make every episode a high action power packed episode because they need to develop the characters and they need to show the viewers whats going on behind closed doors and the secrets that people are carrying.
Jang Uk being stubborn and being unwilling to learn is only because he doesn't know the truth about his birth! He (and Mu Deok/Naksu) have yet to learn about the King's star. Jang Uk at this point doesn't realize what's actually at stake and what's actually happening among the adults. We know that a war's brewing and the 4 houses are in the front and centre of it. BUT Jang Uk has yet to learn all of this. This has a lot to do with everyone trying to protect him and shield him from the truth.
There's a lot of things brewing beneath the surface and before they start throwing revelations at Jang Uk and Mu Deok, they need to sort out their feelings - because that's ultimately going to decide which side they're on and what their common goal is going to be. Jang Uk also needs to overcome his weaknesses and it's been great seeing Mu Deok point them out to him. It's important for Jang Uk and Mu Deok to learn that they aren't each others weaknesses - something they'll have to keep in mind when we reach the tipping point in the story.
Everyone is going to have an important role to play during the final battle so it's important that the audience gets to see what these characters are up to and what side we can expect them to be on. They've dropped some major revelations and hints at us in these past 2-3 episodes so to have these episodes be action packed would be very confusing for viewers.
I'm so glad that with all the ups and down this show had to go through at the beginning that the cast and the show is getting the recognition, praise, and love they deserve. It's a great show and everyone has done justice to their characters.
I think Mudeok will try to prove to Jang Uk how their feelings for each other are a liability. I hope Uk shows…
She's lived alone all her life and had literally no one. No family and no friends. I think it was hard for her to build any kind of relationship in the first place let alone a romantic one. She'll understand that their love is worth it eventually but it looks like Jang Uk is going to have to do some convincing.
Can you pls clarify what do you mean by the jade eggs being pulled together? Thanks
So the Yin & Yang jade belonged to the Jin family and was going to be used to make Jang Uk's and Jin Cho Yeon's wedding rings. It's said that if a couple wears that, their love will deepen. Since the bird eggs are made from that jade and both Jang Uk and Mu Deok each have a part of it, my guess is that since the jade is special and holds some sort of magical power (that's my guess since it was in the room with other magical artifacts that the Jin family owns - like the mirror of longing) the two part are attracted to each other and pulled towards each other when one of the owners of the egg misses the other owner of the egg. In this case, I'm guess that when Jang Uk misses Mu Deok the two eggs are going to be pulled towards each other since one egg belongs to Jang Uk and the other one belongs to Mu Deok.
When I say pulled together or pulled towards each other, I mean a magical pull. It's one half looking for the other half.
Nope. The whole show would lose its essence. The story isn't about the long lost daughter of Jin family, it is…
I love both Naksu and Jang Uk, they're definitely not the typical KDrama ML and FL. I love how even though Mu Deok's body is weak Naksu hasn't let that be a barrier for her and what she's capable of. She's also a very practice what you preach type of person - something we saw in the episode 10 during the servant contest. She stood by her words and won the competition. What I love about Jang Uk is that he let's Naksu be Naksu, without any judgment. It doesn't bother him that Naksu is ultimately stronger and more powerful than him.
