I still remember my feelings when I discovered the first Asian drama (korean) in 2009... It was such a pleasure watching it and then I remember with how much pleasure I watched some of the dramas I love....
However, I have to say, today I feel, that it still can't be compared to what I feel when I watch XZ in a good drama... It's really everything I want from the Screen!
Today, although, leaving XZ aside:), I wanted to write about this drama... I am watching it with my husband so I can't binge-watch. But I am not complaining, since the feeling of anticipation is great. Watched till episode 19...
I love it! I was hooked from the beginning, and all of the characters are very interesting. It has a very pleasing and 'soothing' aesthetics. Something I am sensitive to. Exellent cinematography. They really managed to create a unique 'universe' and atmosphere... It's hilarious at times:) mostly the scenes with Xiao Wu:) I love the music. They chose mostly contemporary music and it's both surprising and so well thought of, since it makes it very 'modern'. Same about the costumes. Modern and stylish! I don't belong to viewers who like to speak about visual effects separately, but in case of this drama, I need to mention it, because they are quite 'surprising' and are done with such a good taste. Very 'artistic'...
i hope chinese dramas prevents these bl and strength the censorship to just normal friendships and focus more…
I. unlike many, might not care about censorship, because I know that even under censorship, masterpieces can be created..Soviet cinematography is the example of that. Saying this, I hope everyone undetstands that I don't advocate 'censorship', and I certainly don't mean censorship about homosexual contents.
