BL is a genre of romantic drama between boys or young men. 4 minutes is like many gay themed western dramas/movies since the 90s that show more sex than romance that nobody wants to watch anymore.

I really really love this drama so far. This is the real BL, not the bullshit 4 minutes Thai drama that is not BL but gay themed which is a different genre.

After second viewing, I will say this is one of the best costume dramas I have ever seen! WJY really fits into this role perfectly like her role in Yanxi Palace. The teasing and smiling between her and ML is so charming to see.
