Excuse me, I have probably travelled and met more Asians and Europeans in both East Asia and entire Europe than you could count, unless you have had done more than that in the past 25 years. From a Chinese perspective, she is not a beauty and how do you know much about her personality off screen?

Since we are talking about Chinese actresses, they should at least have some natural beauty more than the average persons on the street. Actresses like Liu Shishi, Yang Mi, Janice Wu and Zhao Lu Si are beautiful enough. Tang Song Yuan flat nose and round face is really not a FL material. She was fine in My Mr Mermaid pairing with Darren Xiong but out of league with Jin Boran and Song Wei Long (poor in acting though).

Please educate yourself what racism means. I am an ethnic chinese and dislike her for her acting and average look, which is just my opinion.

If she was paired with average looking guys, there would be more chemistry than pairing with aforementioned gorgeous guys, I had to skip her scenes in Go Ahead cos her acting cute was not good acting. I had to skip this drama as what is the reason for her to be FL again?

Can mainland chinese directors stop using the chinless flat faced FL actress? You have the most chinese handsome actors like Jin Boran and Song wei long pairing with her, her acting isn't even great, what so special about her?

BL drama watchers generally hate sad ending but for us gay men, if such stories make you appreciate your love one or what you have, sad ending may be more unforgettable than HE dramas doing fan service simply to get good rating or box office.

What a damn waste of time, it's not a BL drama. American pie wannabe and it's not funny, overacted especially by the ML. Only he and the SML are good looking otherwise, I won't even could watch it.

ZXC's feminine look definitely makes it less bromance with FXB. I have not watched him in any drama before but man, he is hot for a 35 years old! 😘

Maindland chinese has many crazy keyboard warriors who would watch 1 episode and gave 1 star (since no option for zero star) if they think actors/actresses are ugly! When using original voice they will also criticise the accent, etc. If these gius aren't good looking for chinese ethnicity, I don't know who are considered good looking!

Not only he has a hot voice, he could sing (end credit episode 5) and has a heart of gold.

His life changed completely when he won a singing competition in 2007. 10 years later, the grandmom passed away and the parents came back to reconcile with him so that they could move in with the multi million house JBR has bought for grandmom. :-(

They did dub their own characters which is unusual for chinese period dramas.

Christina oh christina, a big BL lover. Have you seen the Once Upon a Time in Lingjian Mountain? It is very funny but not everyone cup of tea and the BL was the strongest and funniest so far I have seen.

If I have to listen to the campiest language on the world (aka Thai) I need to slap somebody!

I think you get confused between gay themed and BL, the latter of which is the trend created for fujoshi. East Asia does produce gay themed films (not TV series) since the 90s but it has limited target audience like the US in the 80s and 90s.

BL dramas mostly cater for women and some gay men like me. Fushojis don't like the harsh reality of sexual gay themed films while SJW (I think they are mostly from the west, especially the US) can't take unconsensual kiss or obsessive lovers. This is one of the reasons many hate Addicted, and Like Love (China) before the ban and many Japanese ones like My Beautiful Man, the Novelist and one of my favourites; The Dangerous Drugs of Sex (haha)!

I mostly watch Japanese for BL these days as they don't use the lame line 'I never like men but only you' and accidental fall and kiss.
