Hong Kong has an ongoing web drama called HeHe & He, up to season 3.

Hong Kong gay movies have always been depressing with suicide or death at the end for years. More depressing but realistically, the houses are always so small, I feel claustrophobic watching their movies. I don't think rejoining China make much difference in its movie industry.

Taiwan has many gay dramas but their stories are mostly terrible and acting is embarrassing with few exceptions like some HIStory series.

The best Bromance detective I have seen is Ancient Detective. The Sleuth of Ming Dynasty also quite good.

Damn, the episodes are too short! Up to episode 3, I really like this drama, it is realistically gay themed (infidelity of one ML and their talks on sex) rather than BL from other asian countries, many of which do more fan service than being realistic.

No silly comic moments with lame sound effects, no accidental falls and staring endlessly into each other. The end credit song is really worth downloading! I want more JL please!

Even they were half brothers, it would be some Asian fujoshis' dream couple. Remember Addicted Heroin (2016) and HIStory 2: Crossing The Line (2018)? Incest is less of an issue for half siblings in real gay world because there is no inbreeding, lol

After some dark episodes, Zhang Ping asks guards to turn a blind eye to his entry and suggests them to go for dinner. The guard uses hand signal for bribery, Zhang Ping asks, do you want money? 🤣

Here we go again! Once you start episode 11, you can't stop binge watching, this drama is so far very well paced; relaxing and often funny moments before the cliff hanger by end of each episode!

The actor of Mowen really shows so much care in the lone scenes with Lan Jue. He was the creepy Emperor's brother in Yanxi Palace whom everyone hates!

Jin Boran on the other hand shows so many mini expressions in his mansion after he manages to stop SWL being executed. 😘

With Jin Boran's dreamy eyes and detective Wang's protective caring stares, the bromance vibes are so strong, even SWL wooden acting cannot deny them. 😁

JBL has such soulful eyes and beautiful facial expressions, he could convey bromance even with SWL's stiff acting but thanks to his handsome face, they are a good match 😁

I was surprised ML is only 23 too. His first breakout role was My Girl (2020) as SML due to his bromance with ML. 😂

I have not watched a full Jin Boran drama yet, but man, he is sexy as hell with his dubbed voice and dreamy look. SWL is gorgeous in certain angle but his eyes 'can't act' like his previous dramas. Not Jin Boran, he has soulful eyes!

Watch at your peril, episode 8-10! The drama becomes very suspenseful, you cannot stop watching!

First episode, both leads so handsome! No wonder trailer makes it look like BL cos they would have made a perfect match!

Even though the scenes between XS and WX are not many but their chemistry is soul mate level. The romance between XS and QL in comparison feel so awkward 😆

Yea, one of the best looking costumes, productions design (buildings and interiors look real) and make up I have seen a while. With the subtle make up and hair styling we get to see eye candies such as the general, white hair sword deity (thunder finger?), even the princes' assistants are not bad looking.
