Just when I thought episode 29 was the best episode yet, we got episode 30 and it was even better. This episode…
YAS, just when I thought SZE did her absolute best in Episode 29, she just keeps raising the bar with Episode 30. Omg, SZE is leading her post 95 generation, for sure. I just feel like crying every time I think we ALMOST didn't get to see this.
I feel the need to defend Wei Shao a bitβsome people, after seeing the episode 31 preview, are calling him a…
I agree. Just because he was ruthless in Episode 1 doesn't mean he has to stay that way or else he's a simp. Clearly, people can't distinguish what a simp is.
She built the tunnel to defend her people not to attack anyone.
I'm saying her intentions of building the tunnel was to protect her people. She didn't build it to hurt Wei or to attack anyone. Sad that her good intentions for Yanzhou became a weapon used against Wei with them being on her side, but yes, she knows her mistakes. That's why she's trying to make up for it.
Thank you. Finally someone that see the biais toward FL lead and the real disastrous consequences of her scheme…
I get where you're coming from and I want to see ManMan prove it to Wei Shao too because hey, I don't mind some more lovin but I get why she built that tunnel. It has only been a year. In today's day and age, women see their value in whatever stage of life they're in whether they're still single, married, divorced, single parent, etc. However, women those days, didn't matter how smart or pretty you were, eventually, you're never going to be enough to keep your husband and lose out to a concubine who's younger and more ruthless. ManMan was preparing for the worst. If she was going to give away her freedom and happiness in this marriage alliance, at least make sure the benefits will last for a long time for the Qiaos and that's what she achieved. It's sad that it hurt the Weis and then in time, hurt the Qiaos now that Wei Shao loves her but she didn't expect all that.
The grandma would eventually allow Wei Shao to marry Zheng Shu as a concubine since the mom was so pushy. It was with ManMan's existence that was perfect to finalize the rejection.
The story also tells us too that there's always a beginning and ending to everything. As strong as the Weis were, three generations lost overnight. The Qiaos under Qiao Ci will begin a new era from their cowardice.
the one at disadvantage here is not wei shao. the only one at disadvantage is manman because WHAT IF he does one…
Hmmm...to me...some examples...
I've seen so many dramas of fake marriages where the FL does nothing for the ML. She doesn't even talk nice to him let alone take care of all the household trivial matters.
She didn't have to share Yanzhou's seeds to help the drought in Wei. She got blamed and almost executed. She didn't have to travel with him to Rongjun. She wanted to. She had already liked him. She almost died at the cliff. She did a great job with the grandma's birthday which they embarrassed her with accusations. She meticulously coordinated the deer hunt, trained her younger brother to support Wei Shao's canal plans putting her in a tough spot again between Wei and Qiao. A lot of her deeds for him are home or family related, so it often gets excused for "her duty" or she's doing it for her clan, but that's not true. Like Wei Shao said, if she was only thinking about the Qiaos, she would've found so many easy ways to sabotage the Weis. A wife solely for a marriage alliance with no love wouldn't act this way or achieve this much. E Huang is an example of marriage alliance, not ManMan.
