Yep, his hatred slowly subsided but it's not completely gone but maybe with this war, it will as Wei Shao has matured sooo much.

There's always two sides and because it's Wei Shao and ManMan, both incredible people, there truly is no right or wrong, just depends on which side you lean more towards. I love both and could understand both.

ManMan has put Wei Shao first in mannnyyy situations. Just because she didn't tell him about the tunnel doesn't negate what she has done in the past.

But didn't that spoiler say they had a child already? There's no child yet unless there's a time lapse? So not sure until it happens.

For reals, that was the real tragedy in all of this. Hahah UNLESS they give us MORE when they really do.

Knowing ManMan, she would've eventually told him because she loves him A LOT, just as much as he loves her. However, it has only been a year, to have just recently gained his trust through ALL of that BS from outsiders, his trust is still a baby...not an adult yet who can handle the tunnel. The Qiaos barely did anything, current day, YET they can't even be near Wei and get blamed for everything. They literally almost executed ManMan regarding the wheat issue YET Wei Shao's mom and E Huang got away with it. The girl cousin tried to grape Wei Shao yet she was sent away with a marriage dowry. If it was ManMan who truly did any of that, she'd be dead 100 times by now. Can't blame her for being wary of him. She's in his home with his people, there's no safe place for her.

But that was sooo satisfying to watch their angst.

I don't blame Da Qiao but in a way I do. Boya is next if Liu Yan is successful. And if Liu Yan is successful, all the states would be on fire with no peace. I'm watching this drama as if I don't know who are the leads and story. Sad to say, Da Qiao is just like her father, coward when it really comes down to it.

He used a hidden weapon, so he's not that honorable.

She can pretty much say the same thing too. The marriage alliance was an announcement that Wei and Yanzhou are one family, so he should have stopped trying to advance towards Yanzhou and provoke her. She has every right to guard against his hate campaign when he sent troops into Panyi too.

I personally think that if this was another drama, I'd probably want to hear it and see it for myself without assuming but the writer of this drama has been very consistent in building ManMan's character. Some see her as conniving and calculative with little sincerity towards Wei Shao but I see different.

She is in the toughest position of all. She genuinely supports Wei yet protects Yanzhou at the same time. She's sincere towards both. She can't? She does everything for the people in general. She saved Xindu from Liu Yan and she wasn't even in love with Wei Shao yet at that time, she even got kicked out by him. She could've used Liu Yan, her own cousin, to get rid of Wei Shao at that time and it would've worked but she didn't. She has shown again and again that she has interests for Yanzhou and Wei but she loves people in general, that's why she welcomed those refuges into Panyi who are hundreds of miles from their own homeland.

The preview showed us that she as a woman led the Boya troops to help Wei Shao. She kept her words and risked her life for hm like she said. She's not sorry for protecting her family. She's sorry for hurting him in trying to protect her family and there's nothing wrong with that.

I agree. That’s why she asked him if he did all that to please her or has he really let go of his deep hate? Why if ManMan died early? So if he did it for her only, his hate will resume as he remarries.

I love my girl that although she may have hurt him and Wei, her apology is in a form of action, gonna make it right with her life!

I think ManMan was going to eventually tell Wei Shao about the tunnel knowing her character but there was never a good time. I mean, Qiao Ci didn’t even do anything and got blamed. It has only been a year and during this year, ManMan has been thrown all around, blamed for everything and anything, she can’t even breathe and someone is on her. Once she gained Wei Shao’s trust, she probably didn’t want to lose it again and needed some more time. This shows that she’s flawed and makes mistakes too.

She has a perfect side profile like LYF. They’re such classic and timeless beauties.

She won’t let her hubby go BUT she let her younger sister cousin go instead? Da Qiao….you think ManMan wants her hubby to go into war all the time too?! Omg.

I know people be comparing this drama to others and pointing out it’s imperfections but I’m just happy that my mind is simple enough to enjoy this drama during such a chaotic time in the world right now. If this isn’t anyone’s cup of tea or the story is too weak and boring, so be it! Hahah.❤️ This drama is for entertainment purposes. Some of us love that. It’s light, comedic, and the leads are 🔥.

I don’t think she’s necessarily wrong to protect her state in the future. Men’s love and loyalty are ever changing, I for one, don’t blame Xiao Qiao especially when it has only been a year? It’s a pity that someone else used her tunnel against her and Wei but life is unpredictable.
