For sure, this role was made for WXY! This is most likely going to be his break out role, finally. Fingers crossed! I've been cheering him on ever since Scent of Time!

I think it's a good thing the real JL was sent away. She wouldn't have been able to outsmart the evil step mother and could've died a long time ago with none of her reputation left, worse yet, not even properly buried by the dumb family. I mean, she lived at the temple for ten years and she couldn't even deduce what XFF discovered in a matter of days to weeks about the lanterns.

Ai Mi is so darn cute and good already in her early teens. She was Zhou Ye's maid with Wang Xing Yue in Scent of Time, too. She was also in Who Rules the World, too. She always delivers so well. I hope she doesn't lose this charm and acting talent when she's older. At this rate, she'll be a main FL in a few years. Maybe then, she may lead one with WXY, too, since their age gap isn't that big.

As of now, the princess hasn't killed her loved ones for power. She's crazy but SYR takes the cake. He literally lives off women and under the most noble and fakest image too. The princess may get uglier later and we're talking about the drama, so who knows what will happen next. 😬

I guess, it's not too bad or big of an age gap after all. Yes, XFF is mid 20's and JL is still in her teens, maybe 20 if at most.

Of course, I'm also here for the romance because who can resist Duke Su?😭🥰 But I'm just saying that if this drama took the route of less romance and more on revenge, I personally don't mind because the writing is soooo good. I'm so entertained.

We didn't but dramas like this, it's understandable and still good without much sweetness. It's not all about love but a woman's journey to discovering herself and finally coming out of her despicable husband's shadows for once. She's behind all his success yet her sacrifices meant nothing in the end. She's right, no one is worthy of her pawning her mother's necklace ever again.

I'm not even bothered about the age gap between the leads or their appearances but rather between Xue Li/Xue Fang Fei and Jiang Li. They're only a few years apart in the book but in the drama and especially baby faced Yang Chao Yue, too, I'd be questioning her identity endlessly, but I guess, it's a drama so we just play along. So far, good acting and chemistry from the entire cast, so this drama is still very interesting and enjoyable for me.

Yes, I think smaller roles suit her for now. Complex or main characters that require a lot of screen time exposes her weak acting. Plus, perhaps it's the director too that can mold her better.

No wonder the eldest princess looks and acts a bit crazy. She must've endured so much herself too as a hostage in another kingdom. She was so mesmerized by Shen Yu Rong enough to murder his wife? All for that?! 🤨 It's Xue Li's blessings to have upgraded to Duke Su in every way. Wang Xing Yue is killing it as Duke Su in here! Wu Jin Wan doesn't disappoint either.

This drama did a fantastic job with the real Jiang Li aka Yang Chao Yue's scenes. My heart truly aches for her. Her story is just too sad. She was never able to return home no matter how much determination, persistence, and perseverance she had to stay alive to meet those who wronged her again! She endured all that torture for over ten years and never had a chance to live. This is probably the only thing I like YCY in. Hehe. Her scenes are just so beautifully executed and the song...such a lovely OST so far.

This drama is sooooo good! I binged all 5 episodes today! I can't wait for the new episodes!🎉🎉
