I hope there's as much romance and cute scenes between the leads as fighting/war scenes. It's too often that ancient series lack skin ship and romance versus modern dramas. It'd be such a waste to see such pretty people like Cheng Lei and Zhou Ye pair up but have little scenes together.
Zhou Ye is just soooo pretty. I'm a girl and I find myself in awe with her beauty in every angle. I'm loving Qian Ling's true self: sassy, unapologetic, girl boss, yet talented and artistic. Gu Xun would've fallen for her no matter what realm, given time and chance.
The best way to know someone is when they're mad, so Qian Ling ignoring Gu Xun, being petty, loud, and the worst possible way towards him makes him fall even harder because naturally, he loves challenges. That's why he doesn't like fragile feminine girls. Qian Ling has always been his type and caliber. Look at all the different games they play. Sometimes you really can't even have manners towards someone or else they take it the wrong way. When someone likes you, they will misread everything. Gu Xun is this clear with her and yet, she's still so persistent. It just proves his point to avoid her at all costs.
I understand Gu Xun because you have to be in this situation to understand. I did this too, actually. There's this guy who kept chasing me and it got to a point where I refused to even acknowledge his presence. I can't be courteous or have manners towards him like a normal being because he always took things the wrong way. For reals! Honestly, people were able to attack TLI like crazy because WAY fans are too peaceful and then ZLS fans are so busy defending against every CP fandom from the past, there was very little energy left to defend this drama. Lol BUT the numbers speak for themselves. I've seen so many data reports and TLI is always doing so good. There's no need to compare at this point. I'm so proud of TLI, ZLS and WAY!
