The way they seem to be heading with the mom-lookalike & jin gyeom is a big NO for me! YESSS!!!! Another "Secret" enthusiast like me. Honestly that drama was elevated because of their chemistry & I became a big Ji sung fan because of it. The chemistry these two STILL is one the most angsty & outstanding among all the dramas I've seen so far!
YES! That drama put him on the map for a lot of kdrama fans but I personally discovered him through Flower boy series with Park Shin Hye & then there was no going back!
On rewatching Episode 5, I have more questions especially regarding Tae yi's death. So let's see:
The day Tae yi was killed:
It is said in Episode 5 that someone came to meet Tae yi on the day that she died.
- Who was it? - Was it director Seok who already knew that she was going to die & that is why he was lurking around the night Tae yi died? - Or was he actually there to warn her? - Or was he just there to take the Book of Prophecy from her? - Does he have any relation with Tae yi or was he just after her for the book?
It is also seen that Tae yi speaks to someone that same day on the phone
- Who was she talking to? - Could it be Min hyuk who was trying to warn her?
Or they will just make him a villian suddenly without much explainatn of what motivates him, though i want to…
That is actually what I'm afraid of - them ruining the potential of this character & sidelining him as a typical villain in the later half whose only purpose is to be defeated & killed by the hero. I hope I'm wrong & this doesn't happen because Kwak si yang has done such an amazing job giving a certain mystery & air of intrigue to this character & they should totally explore this more. He can be a villain but let the viewers understand WHY so that no one is blindsided.
I just realised that joon young has NEVER heard sung ah play her violin while she has been moved by him playing the piano many times. Sung ah feels that her skills are lacking compared to her peers which is why she practices every chance she gets. This combined with the sarcastic remarks from people around her & her own fear of whether she did the right thing by choosing to pursue her passion & not getting a job like her parents wanted, also makes her so self-conscious & critical of her skills. I hope we get a scene where joon young hears her play, praises & encourages her because I KNOW my girl would be moved by that! Imagine if there is a scene where these two PLAY TOGETHER!! His piano & her violin together creating a beautiful harmony & when they finish they look at each other & just KNOW how important they've become to each other.

I HAVE SO MANY QUESTIONS! Let's sort them out:
1) The Book of Prophecy So apparently the "Book of Prophecy" has the key about the end of time travel but exactly what does that mean? - Does it mention when travel time will end/not be possible anymore? or does it mention a way to end time travel? - If it does mention a way to end time travel, why would anyone want that? Could it be Tae yi because she has travelled all timelines & knows the repercussions it has? - Who exactly wrote the this book? All things seem to point at Tae yi but it could be someone else. - Where is the missing page of the book? - Why does the professor have the book of prophecy with him? Did he take it or did Tae yi give it to him at some point because she knew she was going to die.
2) The Child of Prophecy I'm also curious to know who the child of prophecy is? It seems like it is Jin gyeom but could it be Tae yi?
3) Who is helping Jin Gyeom? It seems that there is another person/group who works against Alice or perhaps just someone who wants to help jin gyeom & has to inadvertently be against Alice to protect him. But the question is who is it & why are they doing it? Could it be Tae yi from a parallel timeline who knows that Jin gyeom is the child of prophecy & therefore has many enemies?
4) Professor Seok - Who is he & what are his intentions? - It seems like he is helping Jin gyeom but what are his real motives? - Is the person we see on the night of Tae yi's murder the same person who is now the professor or is he from a different timeline? - Do the people at Alice know him? - WHY DOES HE HAVE THE BOOK OF PROPHECY!
It is killing me to know more about Min hyuk! Every episode, I hope that we will learn a little more about him & his motivation for joining Alice but no luck so far. It is as if the writer is purposely keeping his past under wraps which makes me even more curious about his intentions! When did he meet Tae yi? Why is he obsessed with Alice? Has the time travel affected him? UGH...SO MANY QUESTIONS!!
The drama is already great but if the writer manages to pull of the same level of curiosity & intrigue till the last episode & give a satisfying conclusion to the story then this just might become one of best time travel kdramas ever!
5 episodes in, I love how this drama doesn't waste any time in moving the story forward! Every episode, there is another new development where Jing Yeom has to figure out his next move while trying so desperately to find his mother's killer. I love how engaging it is for the audience as well. It is so amazing how every episode opens up so many possibilities of discovering exactly who these characters are, how they're related & their possible fates while also introducing or re-introducing new characters in different timelines! I have to really appreciate the writer for coming up with a cohesive timeline. Is it confusing? Yes! But that will just make the final reveal that much more satisfying! Also, I CAN'T WAIT FOR MIN HYUK TO MEET THE PROFESSOR! I have a feeling that he knows a lot more than what we have seen so far. Can't wait for tonight's episode!
My heart hurts for Joon young. The way he feels so indebted to the foundation for helping him that he just can't say NO to anything! Even when he tries to make some room for himself, the people around him find a way to remind him of the favor to get what they want!
Joon young is really good at drawing the line despite his own feelings. When jung kyung kissed him, he told her never to do it again & asked her to wear the ring cause' he KNOWS how insecure it makes hyun ho & he doesn't want that for him he actively avoids her because of the guilt he feels for hiding his real feelings & not telling hyun ho about the kiss. Even to song ah he made it clear that he is hugging her as a friend to avoid any confusion cause' he knows how bad that can make you feel! When joon young jokingly asked hyun ho if he should leave & he actually said "leave for me", that really broke me. Imagine not having a home of your own cause' you're always competing to make money & the only 2 friends you have either hurt you or want you to leave.
Another thing about joon young is that we NEVER SEE HIM CRY! even when he is speaking about his loneliness in the competition season to Song ah or when he is hurt because of Jung kyung or criticised by his colleagues, HE NEVER CRIES! He is holding in all of this pain & one day, it will all be too much & he won't have any control over himself/his feelings. I feel like song ah can really bring out those feelings & heal the wounds he's been ignoring for so long, maybe even be the home that he longs for so much!
In 4 episodes, Joon young has already captured my heart with his kind demeanor, charming smile, hardworking nature & his love for his family & friends despite the way they treat him. No leading man has even come close to making me feel this way & I JUST ADORE THAT!

- With Joon young's friends, he has a crush on jung kyung for the longest time but she confuses the hell out of him WHILE having a boyfriend she is possible going to marry! and Hyun ho is so head over heels for Jung kyung that he can't even see the way she looks at Joon young & how disinterested she treats him despite dating her for so long! it's almost like he doesn't want to see it because it will ruin their relationship And then we have Joon young who is trying so hard to keep his feelings under control to not hurt his friend because he knows just how much Hyun ho loves Jung kyung. He doesn't want to hurt their relationship but Jung kyung always confuses him!
- With Song ah's friends, Dong yoon seems like a good friend as he was the first person to encourage her to pursue her dream which is why she respects him so much & feels for him but then he also confuses her with his actions! Like Dong yoon is so friendly with Song ah & contacts her more than his own ex-gf, asking her to come to the airport, fixing her violin but then he sleeps with Min kyung & asks her to not tell Song ah? like WHY? Dong yoon clearly knows that Song ah likes him so WHY would he make her feel special, asking her to profess her love then cowardly making it about the violin & then avoid her messages the moment he sleeps with Min kyung, even trying to hide it? Min kyung is also at fault. She keeps complaining to Song ah about the breakup, saying that they don't keep in touch but then she too starts avoiding her when she sleeps with Dong yoon & then even cries about her pain to Song ah on her own DAMN BIRTHDAY!
like honestly, both Joon young & Song ah are stuck in toxic friendships where their friends are SO SELFISH that they always prioritise their own feelings & desires while disregarding their friend's pain. They seem like good friends but then don't own up to anything!They are stuck in their own weird relationships while not caring about anyone else's problems. Like these two are clearly hiding their real feelings but NO ONE seems to want to know or care for it!
I just watched Ep 4 and I just want Jung kyung to make up her damn mind about what she wants! At this rate, she is not only playing with these guys' feeling for her but also ruining their long time friendship with each other thereby HURTING EVERYONE! Like WHY???
