So as expected Song Mo was once again poisoned by his father in this life...But the royal physician said he has max 1 year to live?! Does that mean there is no cure or what?? Just got time to catch up with the latest eps...And starting from ep25 things are already so intense!!😭😭

Which is honestly kinda funny considering BO (S+ rank) had a bigger budget and production than Blossom(A rank)...And same even tho I had higher expectations for BO I have now ended up dropping it and focusing all my attention here in the Blossom! Even tho I had seen the BO's FL in other works and knew how good she could be and knew almost nothing about Blossom leads...(since they were mostly in supporting roles before which is easier to not notice their presence)

She got slain on the street by the bandit guys her mother brought in to attack FL's household...She died in front of her husband's night place while he was getting drunk and having fun with his friends and courtensans inside...Truly a pitiful character...I felt sorry for her!

While Wang Yingxue ordered the murder of her maid, her poor daughter was also slain on the street by the guys her mother brought in.
And likewise, while her husband was drinking the night away with the courtesans and his friends his wife was dying outside of that same door watching him from the window's shadows...

Dou Ming...This poor girl had no luck when it came to family or lover...And her foolish mick personality was also what led to her tragic end! For letting her mother get away with things and not standing against her...For not listening to Dou Zhao by divorcing that scoundrel Wei even after letting her fend for herself in the Wei mansion alone and having a miscarriage...He is a total self-centered airhead full of pride who only has time to be a romancist and draw his paintings...Even tho when he asked for her hand he promised her the stars & the moon eventually when it came down to it, after getting married he did nothing for her! He didn't protect her from his family, didn't try to provide for her and lessen her burdens/his family's debt by becoming an official, and just kept living the same way he did as a bachelor with little care for the future and the responsibilities of the married! He even left her alone when things got too hard for him to handle...He is just a big disgrace of a man!

It's really sad how the sins of the parents can also implicate their children...Poor Dou Ming...Not only was she unlucky enough to have a foolish husband even her mother was no better or if anything she was far worse!! Karma finally came for her but at her own daughter's expense...
This is why too much evil can ruin not only your enemies but it can end up destroying everything around you, yourself included...

The way Dou Zhao remained strong and collected even under such extenuating circumstances in ep23 is truly remarkable! She acted like a true general with the whole layout plan and the boiled oil/gun canon ideas to fight back!
But what I liked even more was how she let her guard down, finally showing her vulnerability when Song Mo arrived! They are truly a married couple now!! They have each other as support and comfort!!

oh damn the plot thickens even more i see...

To think the Dou uncle and Duke Ying were actually on the same side and working together for Prince Qing/the empress?? All the scum gathered up...Btw interested to get more info on the new female villainess who is part of their team! Cannot wait!

Seeing most of the rats finally gathered together in one place on ep22 was truly disturbing but also a great revelation and insight...

The novel has a happy ending and all of this director's past works I have watched have had happy endings..So I have high hopes they will end it on a happy note!^^ But yeah there will still be angst and some side loses for sure...Sigh...Let's hope for the best!
As for BO same here...BO was actually the drama I was excited about before starting it and Blossom was me going in with 0 expectations at first (especially since I hadn't searched about the one directing it or knew the cast well) but eventually, it became the other way around and i ended up dropping BO...

Poor guy was really going through it holding back for dear life😂😂

And later Song Mo holding himself back from kissing a drunk Dou Zhao is peak romance to me!! My man is a whole forest fr!!

She didn't tho...You should re-watch the scene carefully lol The only reason she said yes at first (before they get out in the yard to review the dowry firsthand) was because she was sure to make them take their words back(as they did). When they saw the amount they were all stunned and all the other female members of Duke Ying's household had no knowledge or the ability to manage the cash so they gave up on their own and even wanted to invest their savings in her business... This is a well-known tactic "Take one step back now, in order to advance later"!

It's sad to see how the mother's sin eventually gets "paid" by the daughter...And also ironic how both Dou Zhao's mother was driven to commit suicide by the stepmom & husband's affair and now Dou Ming herself committed suicide due to heartbrokenness as well...

Okay, guys up to ep21 we enjoyed this and now the calm is gonna end and give way to the storm cause mama ep22-23 teasers are not playing...
Poor Dou Ming girl keeps getting herself into trouble cause of her irresponsible husband and vicious mother...I bet that the cause of this poor girl's demise will be them!!
