Yes, all eps are truly packed with info and have almost zero filler moments which is why the overall plotline progresses fast as well!! I think one of the reasons for this is the director!! He is someone who is used to mini cdrama where time is gold and efficiency is needed to make use of every frame...So here tho a full-length cdrama he is again able to still pack it up with lots of information every ep as if each ep is a short film of its own!! Personally, I like this!! But yeah, it does mean you need to fully focus on the eps when watching and I would advice to rewatch at least ep 1-2 after reaching the current eps to refresh ur memory!

More than worth watching!! This is the current dark horse of cdramaland!!

Btw I saw some talking about a funny hashtag fans use for our main couple on weibo and I can't stop laughing 😂😂
They are calling them the grape & raisin couple because of the size difference of their eyes (FL big round eyes & ML smaller slant eyes)

I mean in ep 16 FL did try to talk her out of this marriage by having an honest talk with her about the Wei household before the marriage (which isn't even benefitial to FL who wants to escape it if u think about it but she still did it for a clear conscience) but the sister is far too infatuated!! If a lamp wants to go into the lion's mouth there is lil left for FL to do after giving the warning!! Each on their own!!

But she did save so many people tho??! She saved Wu Shan from an early death, saved Chen (the male servant who works for her and was an ex-convict), saved ML from turning into a dark psycho who thirsts for revenge with no clear head and she finally managed to save herself!! The only one she couldn't truly save was her mother...She literally committed suicide so FL who didn't even know in the 1st life couldn't save her...Who could have thought her mother was such a romantic and emotionally unstable??

1 ep! We will get 2 eps starting from the weekend!

Just caught up to ep 16 and this is truly the calm before an exciting storm!! ><

Ep 17-18 teasers gagged me so badly in just 2 minutes!!

Like we're FINALLY getting to see her father standing up for her and putting the uncle and stepmom back into their places!!
And the confession scene and dialogue between the leads is EVERYTHING!!

(also a throwback to ep 12 cause there was a similar dialogue in it) If you decide to accept my proposal, please tie a red spikelet on this yulan magnolia tree...Otherwise, go with a white one I will leave you alone from then on.

It could also be due to cultural differences...Even to this day in many Asian countries skinship between opposite gender is more reserved...Plus the FL said this was the first time she had so many intimate scenes with "deeper" kisses in a drama...So she might have been overwhelmed! Sure as professional actors and actresses, they are obliged to go along with it but still, they are human above all...And honestly, as a fan of the director's mini cdramas if you watch them you will realize how he has some good spicy scenes in them! So for him to give the okay I believe the scenes won't disappoint and will at least be better than average!!

The scenes of Song Mo tormenting Wei while in military training were so funny!! I couldn't stop laughing 😂😂 Jealous ML is definitely a scary sight tho~>< Also I love how worked up he got when that scoundrel dared to speak ill of her in front of him!!
