Title Till the End of the Moon
Consider her own perspective to be fair,, he just killed her father and destroyed everything If a Murderer killed…
Well, she cannot be sure if he is the devil or not yet when she sees him kneeling so she tests him. As for the whipping, yes it may not be right, but at that moment mere 2 days after seeing everyone she loved and cared for getting wiped by him, her hatered took the lead. Speaking from a pure moral side it ain't right at all, but in the real world 90 percent of the people will whip him in a moment of rage. Also do not forget they are mortal at that moment. It would've been even worse if she were to continue the whipping before bed after that night. It is normal for her to be naïve and have 0 knowledge of moral standpoint as she grew up in a world where he constantly slaughtered immortals, mortals, everything alive for no apperant reason. She knows 5 percent of what she is gonna go through in the drama. She knew more in the novel, but hatred still prevaled at that moment in the beginning.
