Oh it does make sense, like it did for the Untamed lol. The lyrics of them are painful and tbh fit too well with the scenes - double delivery cuz of the scene and the song that inevitably tells you the character's story in that moment. Example - SJ and MY's story and the song they had on their wedding - 要不然我们就这样一万年(Let's Be Like This For 10000 Years). Its the span of time Ming Ye's dream is active in Mo He river and how much time he spent missing Sang Jiu.

I agree with you and in the book she suffered like a lot - raped by him, tortured, she became blind and deaf, he constantly degraded her with making YBCs every wish come true and when YXW begged him for the Longivety flower so she can at least cure some of her blindness, he gave it to YBC. So her suffering there was a lot and in the span of 6 months. I guess they 1st couldnt include all that due to censorship and 2nd probably cut some scenes of torture thwy could make cuz of the 40 eps final decision they made.
TBH in the book this whole scale thing was different - it was YBC stealing it from Di Mian (LSSs father) when she was suppossed to give it to Chu Huang. But after watching today's epusode i believe even that plot in the novel was delibarately planned by Ji Ze.

Yes. The reason this all is happening is cuz they need to make sure the evil bones of DG 1.0 are gone. So the plan works perfectly and also we can deduct all this with just so little clues 🤯 perks of knowing stuff from the novel i would say 🤣🤣🤣. Suddenly even the novel's version of YBC stealing Di Mian's scale makes more sense. Di Mian as a god may have been notified by Ji Ze what to do and how to execute it - hence the scale, YBC falling in the snake valley and everything newborn LSS and Chu Huang went through in the original timeline. They couldnt change it then (DG 2.0 and original YXW) so second time is now when LSS went back in time. Everything fits perfectly.

That is the novel version and no, after today's episode i think it was delibarately made like that - YBC stealing fhe scale so itd 100% reach TTJ before the last 3 nails are inserted. They never wanted him dead. Remember Ji Ze is able to access memories of himself in both past and future. So think of the whole plan behind all this. And what TTJ ends up doing in the immortal arc. It will make more sense than simple interfering.

Ji Ze suceeded tho. The plan was executed perfectly.

Its a well deviced plan. Ji Ze told the hint in today's episode. They anticipated TTJ, and Ming Ye made sure they will succeed - the nails were NEVER intended to kill TTJ, but weaken the barrier of the evil bones, so YXW can extract them and exchange them for the divine marrow. That is why the scale of Ming Ye was given to ppl close to TTJ in a way - XL as the one TTJ admired as a kid. In order for the plan to work, Ji Ze deliberately did not tell YXW she is not supposed to "kill" TTJ with the nails - in attempt to make sure she will finish her part in all this, and precisely - insert 6 nails and exchange the bones. Do know this is all so he can live and not become the DG 2.0.

No more like, he knew they'd need TTJ in the future and he saw the possibility of him changing, so he told Ming Ye everything and Ming Ye made the dream, made sure the scale will reach TTJ and succeed in part one of the plan. Part 2 was shown directly in the dream. Just connect 2 and 2. The nails were never intended to kill him, but weaken the barrier cuz remember in Ming Ye arc - only the Devil God himself could take out his evil bones and he is a DG, so in order for LSS to take them out as a mortal (in YXWs body) from a mortal (TTJ aint DG yet) they needed this well deviced plan - insert 6 nails, enough to weaken the barrier fully but not kill him instantly so he becomes the DG. And at the same time give enough time for LSS to act the second part of the plan.

Well, id say ost grows on you for this drama. Like some of the songs will make more sense around the end of the drama.

TBH, most ppl dont realise the following truth - Ji Ze anticipated and Ming Ye prevented LSS killing TTJ with the nails so she can take out the evil bones. The reason why LSS needs to insert the nails is simply because the evil bones have a barrier that protects them, so for her to succeed in extracting them she needed the nails in.

Well, we still have tomorrow's ep. The aftermath ep. Him being tortured by the nails 500 years after eps. We shall catch up lol. Im afraid tomorrow we may get 10 blood spits in one ep alone. The wedding ep (26th) had him spitting it 7 times, and the bloody exchange is tomorrow, so prolly gonna beat that. Oh and im not counting the flashback spittings 🤣🤣🤣🤣

As far as i know she will try to make it up to him. Dunno for GYJW, he was quite dense in the novel 🤣🤣🤣

I hope so as well. Cuz it will hit us harder when we see the following instances:
"Break through the torment in the long night. Cut through the darkness and embrace the dawn" (LSS is afraid of the darkness cuz of the torture by TTJ, so the tower is her release)
"Against the radiance of all the stars, I burn everything to pierce the barrier" (like taking his devil bones and the whole scene following)
