I’m a bit worried too because Pursuit of Jade is hyped so much and gets so much promotion. Also the viewers act like the drama is the ultimate revelation. At this point I hope LBTG airs a bit later.

The role sounds very challenging. I‘m absolutely convinced that Chen Fei Yu will deliver on the playful, teasing etc aspect. And also the powerful fighter aspect. To which extent he‘ll be able to show us the darkness/emptiness inside depends also on the director. He can actually do wonders when working with a good director.

Yes, it’s a gem! I almost dropped it at the first episode because I had to get used to the 70s setting and the elements used to criticise the period/system. I‘m so happy I didn’t drop it! It’s heartwarming, fun, romantic and also serious of course, with well-written characters.

Love Story in the 1970s is a gem! I almost dropped it in Ep1 because I thought the setting would bother me. But the story and characters are so well written, it has lots of funny moments, heartwarming moments and also bitingly criticises the system that was in place then. It has a surprisingly independent feel.
