I don’t think YouKu expect people to love them duet that much, so instead of doing this beforehand, they did this after. Also I think they got the music score way way after filming is done. Then a whole of last year, China still have COVID restriction in place I think. All in all, with their crazy schedules , it is easier to do it separately.
