lol, I’ve seen countless xianxia/period dramas where one of the leads are cold without expression, it’s not a new thing 🤦♀️ but there is cold and expressionless, and there is bad acting. you can be cold and expressionless, but human are not robot, you don’t switch from cold one moment to not cold the next moment. what I’m asking for the in between, those micro expressions of the transitions between those moments, so you can feel and connect to the character 😒I’ve seen LSS since her debut time, n trust me, I was charmed by her beauty, I still remembered what she was wearing in that frame, but guess what?! after idk at least 10yrs (I can’t pinpoint the exact year I know of her 😖) her acting hasn’t changed 😑 n it’s still the same 😑😑😑
LSS’s acting is 🤦♀️1 second - dead eye, 1 second - cold face/no emotion, 1 second - being cold but actually finally like a normal human being, 1 second - the “ah ha I got you” smile, then next second dead cold eyes again, 1 second - teary eyes, there is absolutely no transition between these emotions! if you just take a still photo of her acting, she will pass because she can hit show the emotion for 1 second. but as a running video, there are so much disconnection between the story and her acting 😑this lady still cant act 😑 when she was supposed to be angry because the little bird demon child got tricked into burning her mother, the anger was sooo weak, you can not see it in her eyes or her face 😖 I finished 3 eps and the story is a bit of a bore. idk how they do it 😑 but uh! and the fight scenes in ep 1 - who was the genius that ruin it?! it sped up and slow down n all over the place . considering LSS, who cant act, but can do fighting scenes well, I thought at least I can enjoy the fight scenes but nope! they FF it so fast 😑 you can’t clearly see the move 😑 and the support casts - gorgeous looking, all of them, but no chemistry whatsoever between anyone 😑 their story/emotion is not organic developed. we got introduced to them, and bam, they like each other (sure they are brother n sister for a long time), but a few second of “I dare you to look me in the eyes!” then girl got shy is just *yawn n forced 😑 so far, only the ML seems to be acting for the rest of them 😑 HMH is fine (though not enough meat to say anything really). first 3 episodes rating: meh 😑

lol, to think avenueX is a gospel of what you should watch say something about you (the you here is not you, the original poster, but the “you” who watch avenueX n use it to watch a series 🙄🤦♀️).I’m with @kiie here, many times AvenueX praised a lot of series that I found very cliché and boring, occasionally we agreed on some of her reviews, but how she likes a series really not the same as me. I still watch her videos but I understand she has her biases, n unlike me, she can hardly overcome any of them (I.e if she doesn’t like someone, doesnt matter if that person gets better at acting or a series that person is in is good, she ain’t going to watch it nor give it a nice review lol, which is ok, it’s her opinions). but because it’s her opinions, they are not much different than ppl read this comment section, ultimately watch first episode n make up their own mind!

Uhm, not sure about haters going to hate, it’s the government not making it clear. if the government ain’t outright declare shes innocent n clear (so far only her agency said so), it’s not clear enough for ppl to like welcome her back 🤷♀️but I guess since the drama has been approved, we can take this as a soft confirmation that she’s ok?! we will have to wait n see if this manage to finish airing first
uh, it was going decent enough until FL, who knows herself can see ghost, argue like a stupid that her dad must be alive because she saw him at 3am, but the record shows him dead at 2am 🙄😒😑 like girl, you saw the dead body 😑this is not even in denial, this is just stupid writing 😑 because this is a girl that basically been traumatised by her supernatural seeing ability for all of her life, to the point where she was hiding in her room for the past how many years of her existence. that trauma doesnt just go away because of denials 😑
