well, that kiss was very lacklustre. you can see the ML is trying to have a good go at it, while FL is determined to keep her lips as still as a dead fish. I would prefer no kissing and fiery chemistry than the current super awkward fireworks scene n the usual dead fish kissing scene of cdrama 🤦♀️also their skin in that bridge kissing scene were ghostly pasty white! I’m normally not too fuss on these sort of things but for such a scene, where ppl actually pay attention to see if there is chemistry/how good it can be, you gotta be more polished than whatever this drama gave us 🙄🤦♀️

I was taking a stab at why she gave him a new mask, wasnt meant to be that serious on the reason why. but the main reason why I said to take a peek at his face is because let’s be frank here, that mask hide nothing 🙄🤦♀️ tbqh, idc too much about seeing him in the mask, my point is as the audience, you can tell it’s a pretty mask, you have a pretty ML, why not show it?! like why holding it?! just so later on, they can play hero music background, he comes flying out with that mask n save the heroine?! 🙄🤦♀️

ep 9, the mask scene: the logic of that scene is mind blowing 🤯 so she gave you the mask to in a sense see your face since the mask barely covers the face. do you, as the director, A - show the ML has the mask on, she turns around, immediately recognise it’s not the person she wants to be. or B - show the ML with bare face, hold the mask in his hands, but not putting on. or C - has the ML hold the mask like he’s taking it off when he was wearing the other mask! so essentially, she gave him a pretty awesome mask, neither she or us as the audiences get to see him with it on… why?! who did he put it on for then lol?! so dude puts the mask on for like a second then take it off n call the FL to look at his face?! the logic?!!! 🤦♀️🤦♀️🤦♀️🤦♀️
